Our roaster will guide you through the intricacies of coffee processing, shedding light on the journey of beans from farms to coffee importers and roasters. We'll then run a demonstration on the transformation of green coffee firsthand and participants can take part in roasting a small batch of coffee on our sample roaster. This hands-on session not only explains the roasting process but also empowers you with the knowledge to appreciate the art and science behind it. The end of the workshop is a communal coffee tasting session. Enjoy the distinct flavours and aromas of various coffees, including the batch you helped roast. Trauma Informed Practice in Education is a research evidence based whole school systems approach that starts with you. Improved attendance, improved learning outcomes, reduced suspensions and exclusions and better staff recruitment, retention and wellbeing all begin from a place of understanding child development, the impact of adversity on child development and the role of us as educators in supporting opportunities for growth and resilience. Systems change takes teamwork, however the most important member of that team is you. On this Trauma Informed Practice Day you will learn the why and how to keep you well and resourced in order to support the emotional and academic progress of the children in your school. You may already have some knowledge or you may be coming as a complete novice. Either and anything in between is fine. Numbers are limited to keep the group small for the benefit of more enriched learning. On this practice day you will; • Take a deep learning dive into the nervous system and how this applies to you, your setting and the progress of your learners. • Learn practical skills and strategies to support yourself and others. • Have opportunities to discuss children you are working with through small group supervision sessions • Benefit from a day of immersion into the topic with two highly qualified and experienced practitioners.

Our intensive 10, 15 or 20 day Total Air Conditioning and Refrigeration training courses have been structured to meet the ever increasing demands on industry to meet safety, environmental and legal requirements regarding installation, commissioning, service and maintenance of both refrigeration and air conditioning systems including the electrical aspects of installation dependent upon course selection. The first 10 days of the Total Air Conditioning and Refrigeration training course are mechanical only, the following 5 or 10 days are the electrical aspects, depending on which route you need to go down. The Total Air Conditioning and Refrigeration training courses are accredited with the City & Guilds 2079, BESA Pipework and Brazing – (commercial), along with an EAL Unit* – Maintenance of Refrigeration Systems from the EAL Certificate in Engineering Technology (QCF) qualification. (*Practical elements will be covered during the course with a Project booklet to be completed by the student with an element of self-study after the course completion for us to claim the Unit certification from EAL). Our Total Air Conditioning and Refrigeration training courses are designed to be as practical as they possibly can be, with workshop time taking more than 70% of the course. During the Total Air Conditioning and Refrigeration training course, you will, install, repair, fault find, adapt and commission on a variety of different equipment, because we believe the way to learn is to do it!! With ALL our courses we offer unbiased technical support and access to a wealth of knowledge and information upon completion.
