WHAT IS CHINESE ARTS NOW? Chinese Arts Now (CAN) commissions, produces and presents high-quality art that reflects diasporic voices in modern times. Since becoming NPO in 2018, CAN has hosted three CAN Festivals which are the first arts festival across London dedicated to showcasing contemporary Chinese performing arts with performances at venues such as Southbank Centre, Shoreditch Town Hall, LSO St Luke’s, King’s Place, BFI, Rich Mix, Soho Theatre. CAN Festivals presents over 50 British East Asian artists each year from 2019 to 2021. CAN Productions have toured around the UK and internationally and CAN continues to pioneer innovative digital works. OUR VISION Our vision is for CAN to produce and present to the public, work that explores Chinese themes, stories and art forms, and work that blends Chinese and other contemporary art forms. We aim to be the UK’s leading organisation showcasing this work, to educate, and to foster cultural understanding and appreciation of the UK’s diversity to audiences across the country.

0 Comments I founded The Local Teachers Ltd in 2015, with the vision to make education more accessible and convenient locally. At the Local Teachers, we helped over 25,000 students in the last 8 years to boost their grades and help them go to their desired universities, we have fostered partnerships with 13 schools in London and 3 councils to help them support pupils with our intervention tuition programs in sciences, Mathematics and English. With that same vision and passion, I have founded Ezy Edtech Ltd to purchase assets as part of the liquidation of EzyEducation Ltd via a CVL to make quality education more accessible in different ways. That purchase transfers the rights of the EzyEducation website, courses, and high-quality book stocks of 10,000 with a commercial value of £5-10 per book to Ezy Edtech Ltd. The goodwill and support of ex EzyEducation employees has also been secured. Moreover, we have renewed all suppliers’ contracts such as the Zapper app, which makes more accessible our revision pocket booklets by pulling the interactive videos lessons, and quizzes from our platform to iOS and Android devices which increasingly more and more students are relying on for their revision routines. The EzyEducation platform and customer relationships benefited from £2.5m of investment and reinvested earnings. This means that Ezy Edtech bypasses the development costs usually associated with start-ups. The platform is currently used by over 150 school users (subscriptions of £200,000 in 2019 and £130,000 during 2021 (revenue decreased due to COVID19 exam cancellations). Although EzyEducation Ltd ceased trading on 14/12/2021 the platform has remained in use through this period with zero disruption for customers. Over this period, we had 188,543 sessions, 90,103 users, and 3.25 million hits. This continuation of user engagement is a clear indication of the success we can build on moving forward. With that strong foundation for success, here are our short-term objectives. At the present our most important objective is to secure renewals for the schools Minimise the service disruptions - renew contracts for all our suppliers and staff where possible. Improve our resources wherever necessary - such as creating more resources to make teachers’ life easier - in doing so, we will be complementing with PowerPoints lectures with the video lessons on the platform – so that teachers do not spend so much time and resources in creating lesson plans but rather focus on delivering and

Our users come from Maiden Lane, Agar Grove and St. Pancras Way Estates, Elm Village and Camden Square and some activities attract users from across Camden. The Centre provides services and activities for everyone in our community, catering for a wide range of interests and age groups. The Centre is well-equipped, particularly with computers that are supplied, managed and maintained by Camden Online. Basic computer courses offer free access to the World Wide Web and e-mail. Maiden Lane also provides accredited training and help with job search.

It is founded by Saraswati Vanisha Mistry, a London born, Bristol Based creative. Sing for Your Soul offers embodied voice training, 1-1 voice coaching, voice healing ceremonies and circle singing & vocal improv workshops. Every Sing for Your Soul offering connects individuals to their raw, authentic voice by using a range of embodied techniques which journey through movement, meditation, play and breathwork. This is all about Voice Empowerment, to support you in finding the True Voice within.

The inspiration for Memorial 2007 came from a school girl of African heritage who, after a visit to the Tower of London, asked her teacher "where is our history?" The answer is that in Britain, it is not in public view. More than 200 years after the passing of the Abolition of the Slave Trade Act in 1807, there is not anything to commemorate the millions of unnamed Enslaved Africans who lost their lives, liberty, and identity through the slave trade which enriched the colonising powers of Europe and their estates in the Americas. We came together informally in 2002 as a volunteer group. We took the name Memorial 2007, looking ahead to the bicentenary of the passing of the Abolition of the Slave Trade Act. In 2007 we became a registered educational charity with the Memorial having a dual purpose, not only as a memorial but as an educational resource. Our aim is to provide access to VR (Virtual Reality) and AR (Augmented Reality) whereby individuals will be able to have an immersive educational experience, regardless of location.
