The Level 1 Award in Motor Vehicle Studies is designed to encourage and enable learners who have an interest in this area of study to acquire knowledge and skills to aid progression to further study or employment.
Course Summary: This workshop aims to increase awareness of Safeguarding and Protecting Children, helping coaches to recognise signs of abuse and poor practice, and deal sensitively and effectively with issues that arise. It also prompts a review of coaching practice to ensure that sport provides a positive and enriching experience for children. The 3 hour workshop covers the following and learners will be able to: Identify and recognise good coaching practice and the implications for them. Explore their values and feelings in relation to child abuse, and recognise how these may potentially impact on their response. Recognise and respond to the signs and symptoms of child abuse and poor practice. Take appropriate action if concerns about a child arise. If you require a group booking for your staff/volunteers, please select group booking to request a private group session. This option will require a minimum of 8 delegates. If we do not have 8 delegates the course will be rearranged for a later date.

This course runs over 5 weeks and during our time together we will explore five easy to follow parts. 1: What mediumship is and the different types, including your role as a professional medium and the differences between working in the psychic modality and when you are connected to spirit. 2: Activating and building your power within, and the difference between meditation, and attunement both to the spirit world and using your psychic modality. 3: The six different senses available to you, which are your strongest and whether you are perceiving them objectively or subjectively. 4: What is and what is not evidence in mediumship, understanding the different types of evidence available and defining practical and emotional evidence. 5: Surrendering to spirit, building confidence to receive specific unique information, and understanding the reasons why you receive a no response. The course is a four hour refresher session for those who have completed the Mental Health First Aid two or one day course. Just like physical first aid, we recommend you refresh your skills regularly and keep up-to-date.
