Our six week course starts each July and focuses on Men’s pattern drafting, block patterns, figurations, cutting, fitting, remarking and master patterns. Successful students will be awarded a certificate.

This course is a recognised route into the gas industry without having an NVQ or apprenticeship in plumbing and/or gas. Before you can start your Accredited Certification Scheme (ACS) domestic initial assessment you will need to complete the MLP course if you do not hold any current gas qualifications. This course is approved by IGEM and is certificated by LCL Awards.

A walk in the woods like you have never known! Soul Shed wellness walks have become a popular contribution to Altons Walking Festival, and so we have decided to make them a regular thing. Feel free to share with friends you think might enjoy! These interactive walks are for curious adults, and a gentle way to explore your creativity and to get to know yourself better. We will walk with an ancient woodland story , and share a soulful time in a beautiful piece of forest. This event is by donation, on the day, and funds will contribute towards future walks. This Beginners Barbering Course is aimed at those looking to be work-ready upon completion and working towards an internationally recognised Barbering qualification. After an initial induction, on day 2 you will learn to cut & style utilising the 5 Alan d Foundation haircuts before moving on to the practical elements of Barbering, incorporating all the latest techniques using scissors, scissor-over-comb, clippers & trimmers and learning beard and moustache trimming and wet shaving.
