For those of you unable to attend Linda’s course in person we offer the option of joining us online.
This is a chance to explore coloured pencil drawing for those who have never put pencil to paper. Also a wonderful course for those newer to drawing and wanting to learn the basic techniques.
Included are SIX instructional videos:
‘Putting Pencil to Paper’ – A complete introduction to paper, pencils, sharpeners, erasers, setting up for still life and working from photographic reference. (45mins)
‘Garden Peas’ – Video tutorial (1hr 59 mins)
‘Apple’ – Video tutorial (1hr 14 mins)
‘Blue Tit’ – Video tutorial (1hr 52 mins)
‘Wild Rabbit’ – Video tutorial (1hr 14 mins)
‘Ox Eye Daisy’ – Video tutorial (1hr 21 mins)
With almost nine hours of detailed instruction included, you can be assured of five artworks to be proud of at the end of this course and enough techniques to continue your new skill.
A set of notes, guidance on paper and pencils to use and an instructional video for each part of the course are included. All you need is a selection of Faber Castell Polychromos pencils, good quality white drawing paper and a few pencil case items.

Coloured pencil is a marvellously versatile medium and it is genuinely an easy medium to master when you have learned the basic techniques. You will learn how to layer and blend and various other ‘tricks’ in these easy introductory lessons to produce beautiful illustrations or artworks.
