Our flagship summer school is designed to expose students to pioneering research, teach them the skills needed to critique and evaluate published works and offers practical scientific advice to help improve the quality of your life. Furthermore, we strongly believe that the future of medicine will not be one-dimensional and therefore at MedAhead, we encourage the pursuit of complimentary interests. For example, students with interests in art, coding or nutrition are taught to develop these talents, providing abstract solutions to real-life healthcare problems. In recognition of the competitive nature of medicine, our platform offers 1:1 interview and personal statement coaching. Students are paired with an experienced NHS doctor to help guide them through the entire process. Moreover, we encourage our doctors to go beyond admissions support, forming a role of advice, mentorship and inspiration.
