Welcome to my journey! I started dancing at the age of 3 at Vacani Ballet School but didn't voyage through belly dance until my teenage years, through my love of Bollywood and Tamil cinema. ​ I was attracted to belly dance like a moth to a flame. I had an avid interest in intuitive ways of living and healing through movement. After suffering serious health challenges and feeling disconnected from my body, I was in need of grounding and feeling whole again. I found my home in belly dance, because it reconciled me with my dear body. I'll forever be grateful for how deeply healing belly dance is to our soul, body and mind :-) ​ Whether you are attracted to learning belly dance for fun, fitness, femininity, co-ordination, endorphins, posture, muscle control, reconnection, art, healing, spitirual reasons, meeting new friends or for no other reason than simply a gut feeling - I hope your journey is filled with magic.
