GOOD STUDIO is a risograph print and design studio based in Brixton obsessed with all things print related and RISO particular. Risograph printing has a unique aesthetic invented in 80s Japan as a duplicator for schools and offices, it mimics the screen printing process using brightly coloured eco friendly soy based inks.  GOOD STUDIO was set up by artist Joanna Brinton in 2018 with the intention of promoting conversation and exchange via Riso printing. The studio host regular open access workshops and introductory sessions to introduce others to this fascinating process.  Joanna has a BA Fine Art Degree from Central St Martins College and a Masters in Book Arts from Camberwell College of Arts and over twenty years of practice in printmaking and book design.

3rd Rail Print Space is a open access screen printing facility combining paper, t-shirt and fabric printing located in South Berdmonsey.  The aim of the space was to build a comprehensive print hub and modern learning environment to make screen printing accessible to a new audience whilst providing a wealth of equipment for those already working in the medium. We offer standard pay monthly memberships and for anyone looking for a more involved experience there’s the opportunity to take advantage of one of the 4 private studio spaces. Members have access to a commercial quality 6 colour garment carousel, a 3m tunnel dryer, three fabric tables, 1 paper printing table, a exposing unit, film printer for positives, washout and drying cabinet, bullet steamer which allows up to 10 metres of fabric, a huge 80cm x 100cm heat press, and an atmospheric steamer which allows unto 30 metres of fabric.

Make Good Print Co. is a screenprinting studio based in South Devon specialising in water-based printing on fabric and paper. We provide an affordable print service, run workshops and provide open-access membership to the studio.  Graduates in Graphic Design and Fashion & Textiles respectively we have formal training and a long-running passion for our craft. We love working with our hands and keep a DIY spirit at the heart of what we do. If we’re not at the studio with squeegees in hand with a bit of luck we’ll be walking on Dartmoor, swimming in the Dart or surfing the south coast.

vega brennan, linden print studio

Vega, who runs the Studio, has over 20 years experience working with prints, teaching art and printmaking. As well as being a fully qualified art teacher, she has an MA in the History of Printmaking (Distinction for Thesis, London) and an MA in Fine Art and Education (Distinction, Northumbria). She has worked at Tate Britain’s Print Study Room, Leeds City Art Gallery and Eastthorpe Visual Arts (now West Yorkshire Print Studio). She is a founding member of Cumbria Printmakers. In 2009 she set up Art Educators North West, a network for Artist Educators and Art Teachers in Cumbria and Lancashire. She is Chair of the Tullie House Community Board.
