The course is aimed at Named Professionals in Children’s Safeguarding who are already established in role but need to keep their learning up to date at level 4 in line with the Safeguarding Children and Young People: Roles and Competencies for Healthcare Staff (Intercollegiate Document). The course will be a mixture of presentations from expert speakers, which will cover a number of hot topics in children’s safeguarding and a series of workshops which be facilitated by experts but where the emphasis will be on shared learning from the expertise all participants will bring to the course.
