There&rsquo;s lots of advice available online and in books, but how do you take this huge quantity of sometimes conflicting theory and turn it into something practical? You might have tried sharing some of this theory with your senior stakeholders but you are struggling to articulate what it means to them.

About this event
This course will be delivered using a mixture of pre-recorded modules, live Zoom calls and online collaborative tools. Day 1 is 8.15 am-17.00 pm and day 2 is 9.30 am-4.30 pm (UK time). 
A practical approach to Data Governance
One of the biggest challenges with Data Governance is knowing where to even start.
There’s lots of advice available online and in books, but how do you take this huge quantity of sometimes conflicting theory and turn it into something practical? You might have tried sharing some of this theory with your senior stakeholders but you are struggling to articulate what it means to them.
Learn exactly what Data Governance is and how to implement it successfully.
This training consists of two days and you are welcome to join either, or both days. The first day is my Getting Started in Data Governance course, which simplifies the concepts you need to understand to design and implement a Data Governance Framework. 2025 is the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War – a conflict that defined the twentieth century and still has an influence on relationships and attitudes today.
In this course we welcome academics from institutions across the UK and abroad to contribute to a series of lectures and discussions on aspects of the Second World War. This is not a course about battles but rather about how people engaged with the conflict in different regions, exploring political motivations, cultural responses and social impacts and legacies.
