I am Jeannette, a passionate mindfulness coach, a non-performative yoga teacher, and a textbook type B personality. I live for long walks in the wild and sleeping under the stars. I'm the girl you can count on to bring the snacks and your Jackie of all trades. My true passion lies in Women's Mindfulness and Integration Coaching. My soul ignites through guiding people back home to themselves, into deep self-love and soul connection. I use a combination of techniques including connection to breath, embodiment, movement as medicine, mindfulness, neuroscience, esoteric concepts, yogic philosophy, and trauma-informed education to guide my clients safely into the parts of themselves they have not been willing or able to see so they can love them back to life. I am here to nurture individuals into fearlessly transcending the stories they have been telling themselves that keep them stuck. I help individuals release personal blockages so they can authentically and confidently connect back to themselves and show up fully in their life. My commitment is to live as my authentic self and constantly dive deeper into the expression of the various layers of my inner lotus so that my clients feel safe, empowered, and free to go there themselves. We often get so scared of judgment, rejection, and abandonment that we are not living to our fullest expression. Many of us never learned how to express ourselves, let alone love all parts of us! My purpose is to: Help you remember that you are a magnetic, ever-changing being capable of having a powerful impact on the world. Help guide you to embody what is authentically you. Remind you of what is possible through love. Connect you to your body, heart, and soul so you can live liberated in your authenticity. Show you that it is possible to dance within the duality of the light and dark that lives within all of us. And be fully yourself, without fear, guilt, or shame. Love is everything. Radical self-love is the start of living liberated. It begins with loving every facet of the beautiful being that lies within. To know that your humanness is a beautiful expression of the spectrum of human life.

Lydia has 16 years’ experience of teaching in state schools in the Buckinghamshire area and understands the issues facing students, teachers and parents. She can offer a range of programmes for all Key Stages, INSET training or taster sessions, online or in-person. Well-being for people with limited mobility Do you know an individual or a group who could benefit from yoga or meditation? Lydia has recently qualified as a Lakshmi Voelker Chair Yoga teacher and can design and deliver classes for seniors, people in wheelchairs, people with dementia and anyone who finds it difficult to do yoga on a mat. All the benefits of yoga can be made accessible to anyone, this includes: range of physical movement; cognitive ability; bone density; muscle strength; managing stress and anxiety; better sleep and improved confidence and self-esteem. We are happy to travel to care homes, communities or rehabilitation facilitates etc. Or we can offer on-line sessions. Well-being in corporate settings Research by the HSE suggests that stress, depression and anxiety generate around 17.9 million sick days in the UK each year. Eighty-three percent of businesses report people turning up to work who are not well enough to be productive and this costs the UK businesses about £15.1 billion each year (Mind, 2011). Almost half of the UK’s workers report that they have considered leaving a job because of the stress levels with 60% saying they would be more motivated if employers took action to support their mental health and well-being (Mind, 2013 & 2020). Lydia and Doug both teach chair yoga, a form of yoga that can be done at a desk and is specifically designed to target the physical stresses of sitting all day. We are also both trained in teaching a range of mindfulness practices to adults and younger people. I started yoga reluctantly in my late 30s after being told I had High Blood Pressure. Rather than go on medication Sue suggested I try Yoga which might help me relax.I signed up to a local class and the first thing I noticed was I was the only guy in the room so I just hid at the back. The course was for 8 weeks so I needed some form of proof it was doing something positive so I set myself the target of being able to touch my toes from a standing position. I had never been able to do this so I thought this would be a good measure. Every week I tried to force myself to reach my toes and each time I only got midway past my shins. Then in week seven as I tried again (and failed) the teacher came over to me and said ‘You are trying too hard – try easier”. Try easier? What’s that? My whole life had been about trying harder. So I thought what the hell and bent over and basically tried not to touch my toes. As I did this not only did my fingers reach my toes but the palms of hands landed gently on the floor next to feet.I was amazed but there was more than this going on. I was at the time in charge of over 400 members of staff and they had started to see a change in me. Instead of talking at 100mph when they came to see me (because they knew I would interrupt them before they had finished), I was listening and being more aware. At my next check-up at the Doctors, my BP has also dropped and my knees were not hurting either. So I was hooked and within a couple of years trained to be a Yoga Teacher to try and encourage more men to take it up. When I moved to Cornwall I ran Yoga Weekends for over 10 years alongside my Digital Marketing Agency. I taught 1000s of students from around the world, some of whom went on to be teachers themselves. Eventually, I started to feel under pressure again as my main business continued to grow. I tried using other teachers and although successful the market was changing so I wound the teaching side of the yoga business in 2014. I continued to practice yoga at home but as work got busier it started to fall away. Then in 2016 following a couple of health scares (including Tinnitus- read my success story here), I would go days and then weeks without practising. This carried on for a while and I started to notice that some yoga postures I used to be able to do easily were become hard to do or just not possible. I thought as I approached my 60s this was probably a natural sign of ageing. However, in 2018 as my ‘Walk to Work’ started to pay dividends to my health I decided to revisit yoga. This time I would go back to basics and just accept what I could do and feel my way into postures without forcing. I basically left my ego at the door. So I started a daily practice of about 45 mins, followed by a 20min meditation practice. I have kept to this ever since. Perhaps it is muscle memory or just letting go of where I thought I should be but all those postures that I thought were out of reach all came back one by one.
