3 Day First Aid Description: The full 3-day First Aid at Work Qualification is nationally recognised. It meets the standards required to help comply with Health and Safety (First aid) regulations. This qualification is valid for three year, after which delegates need to complete a 2-day refresher course. Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation and care of the unconscious requires physical effort. Learners should be capable of working with casualties at floor level. Learners receive a First Aid at Work guide book, a training dressing and a CPR barrier protection device. The HSE strongly recommend that all First Aiders undertake annual refresher training of at least 3 hours per year. This course is suitable for operatives required to Work at Height, providing a sound foundation on the requirements of the Work at Height Regulations 2005 in conjunction with a basic understanding of the types of fall protection systems and equipment available, its use, its limitations and unsafe practices. Suitable for individuals working around but not directly Working at Height. It allows the delegate to identify a working at height area and understand the procedures and regulations that control it. The 2-Day first Aid at Work Refresher Course is appropriate for candidates who are currently holding an in-date and valid full First Aid at Work Qualification.
