River Trent Cruises from Newark Marina

The Newark Crusader offers affordable pre-booked cruises on the River Trent from Newark Marina for care homes, elderly, special needs, community, and educational groups with excellent disabled access, including those in wheelchairs. The pleasure of cruising on the River Trent is therapeutic, helping people relax and enjoy being in contact with wildlife and the outdoors. The Newark Crusader is a not-for-profit charity run entirely by volunteers. There is a large open foredeck, a heated saloon, a disabled toilet and a small galley/kitchen. The boat can carry up to 12 passengers and there are usually two trips a day lasting roughly 2 hours. The cost of the service starts as low as £6 per person, but we do ask for a minimum contribution of £60 per trip towards our costs.
