However, the end result of making fermented drinks doesn&#39;t always have to be alcohol. The process of fermentation allows us to create exciting and desirable flavours that can&#39;t be achieved by any other method. In this workshop we&#39;ll instruct you how to make your own kombucha to take home.Kombucha is a tangy, fizzy fermented tea drink made using a SCOBY (symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeasts). It&#39;s a great, refreshing low-alcohol - a tiny bit is produced during fermentation - alternative to your usual tipple.Our 1.5 hour course starts with a welcome drink (fermented, of course) along with a few tasters of our core range of sauerkraut and kimchi and perhaps the occasional one or two experiments we&#39;ve been working on.From here we dive into what fermentation actually is and the scientific methodology of how we as humans can harness it to do our bidding. How do I attend?

EITHER -
CLASSROOM OPTION - Attend one of our scheduled classroom locations, completing your Introduction to Phlebotomy Course over 2 days. You will also complete your Advanced Training at the end of the first day and your Competency Training at the end of the second day.

Our Introduction to Phlebotomy and Advanced Phlebotomy Training Kits are supplied at no charge when booking our virtual classroom training option.
If you would like to add one or both of these kits to your classroom training option then these are available to add at time of booking. Our comprehensive training kits each mirror the same equipment and supplies used in the classroom and both include detailed video tutorials, allowing you to continue to practice and "hone" your skills after you have completed your practical training.

VIRTUAL CLASSROOM OPTION- Complete your theory training online at home or work, then join us for a one day Zoom session to complete your Introduction to Phlebotomy virtual classroom training, followed by your Advanced Training in the evening of the same day. Our Virtual Classroom option includes two very comprehensive training kits - one for your introductory course and one for your advanced course. In January 2024 alone, reports were published about the SRA taking enforcement action against 3 firms and 4 individuals for failure to comply with the Money Laundering Regulations 2017. The fines issued for these non-compliances total over &pound;570,000 plus costs. The absence of staff training, or requirement to complete additional training, was noted in a number of these cases.As a manager of a law firm, or more crucially an MLRO or MLCO, the ultimate responsibility for the firm&#39;s compliance, including with the MLR 2017, lies with you. It is your responsibility to ensure that the firm puts in place, reviews and updates compliant policies, controls and procedures. You must ensure that the firm maintains an up to date practice wide risk assessment. Ciara McEllin is building her list as a Junior Agent at Watson Little. 

She reads widely across book club, upmarket and literary fiction. Within these areas, she is drawn to novels that examine family and relationship dynamics, sexuality, identity, and vulnerability. Ciara is keen to hear from writers who take a fresh approach to these themes, whether that be a new perspective on a traditional narrative or a focus on characters and voices that remain underrepresented: think Kairos by Jenny Erpenbeck, Asymmetry by Lisa Halliday or Monkey Grip by Helen Garner. Quarterly meetings at the Academy
To ensure a well-rounded learning experience, you will be required to attend face-to-face lessons at the Academy on a quarterly basis, which means every three months. These sessions serve several important purposes:

The Academy provides a list of Private and NHS Dental Surgeries, who are regularly contacting us when looking for more Trainee Dental Nurses, so you can contact them directly as a registered student at the Academy. This is a paid job, unless you would like to work voluntary for personal reasons. We also provide a reference letter to the employee in case you need it.

The curriculum is based on the GDC (General Dental Council) registration requirements for dental nurses. These are set out in terms of professional competencies, with the assessment method clearly outlined (e.g. how the skills and knowledge will be assessed in the final examinations – via written questions such as multiple choice (MCQ) or extended matching questions (EMQ) or via Objective Structured Clinical Examinations – OSCEs). There are two exams:
1. Multiple choice theory exam. November and March.

Record of Experience (eROE)
To be eligible to sit your first exam, you have to complete your electronic Record of Experience (eROE). The eROE has to be submitted to your tutor by 31st Jan for March exam, and 31st August for November exam.

Course Summary

BRCGS Professional is a learning program that will give you international recognition for the key skills and knowledge essential for product safety management. As a BRCGS Professional you will be well-equipped to manage any GFSI-recognised standard in your business, and able to implement or manage product safety systems. BRCGS is the leading provider of GFSI-recognised Standards globally, respected for quality and brand protection assurance. 


This training program has been designed by the BRCGS Technical team, in response to demands from the industry for training on the skills necessary to implement effective product safety management program.


The courses are subject-specific, train the core skills needed for any product safety individual, and will help with maintaining any GFSI-recognised certification scheme.


The 3-day Fast Track program will comprise of 3 of the following 4 courses:

Risk Assessment – This one-day course will provide delegates with a thorough understanding of risk assessment and enable them to use different risk assessment models.
Root Cause Analysis – This one-day course will provide delegates with a thorough understanding of root cause analysis (RCA) to know its importance and be able to perform it competently.
Validation and Verification – This one-day course will provide delegates with a thorough understanding of validation and verification, so they know the level of detail required for each process and are able to use validation and verification in practice.
