How To Paint & Upholster Furniture Course Workshop Description  You have asked us if you can come along to ReVamp Boutique and transform a chair using paint and reupholster its drop in seat ( or very similar) with fabric. So yes! You now can! You will be using traditional upholstering techniques on your chair. painting your chair using colours from Sophie James Décor which are included in the workshop and can be selected on the day as we stock their whole range. All tools, paint and other upholstery materials will be available and provided as part of the course. Although you will be working on your own piece throughout the day, alternative inspiration and techniques will be discussed. A fun, relaxed workshop for any level!  You will have a transformed piece to take home with you. You will need to bring: A chair with a drop in seat Your chosen upholstery fabric A picture of your chosen chair and upholstery fabric will need to be emailed to us latest 5 days before the start of the workshop What's Included: A light lunch & tea and coffee will be provided on this One Day Workshop. 1 DAY FABRIC PRINTING WORKSHOP £75.00 The perfect introduction to fabric screen printing, our beginner workshop is ideal for anyone interested in learning the complete screen printing process or simply looking to print some tea towels or cushion covers with their own design for a special occasion. The sessions will run from 10am – 4:00pm (subject to class size) with a 30 min break for lunch. The day will be split as follows: Morning After a short intro into the studio and the process you’ll guided through how to coat and expose your design onto your screen. Afternoon After lunch we’ll decide on colours and select print pastes and go through the process of setting up the fabric tables ready for printing. When the screens are dry everyone will have a go at printing their fabric. Each person will walk away with 1 metre of fabric printed with their own 1 or 2 colour design. Outcome You will take away 1 meter of fabric with an experimental 1 to 2 colour printed design. — To book please scroll through the calendar and click the available date (highlighted in green) that you’d like to attend. All materials are provided including white/natural fabric, if you’d like to supply you own fabric please check with us first to make sure that it’s suitable for screen printing with our inks. Learn how to make some fused glass pieces eg: jewellery, coasters, sun-catchers.

Little Crafters is a craft session run by Make, Do & Trend for 18 months-4 year olds. We have a selection of trays out with different crafts to do alongside your child. Each month there will be a new theme with December’s theme being Christmas! Your little one will take home at least 4x crafts based on the current theme as well as a snack bowl to have at the end of the session. Older siblings are welcome and can either pay sibling price and join in with the crafts (snack bowl included) or come along for FREE (snack bowl not included) and I’ll have some colouring and games for them 😊 Tea/ coffee and biscuits will also be provided for the grown ups. Instructions Children are to be supervised at all times. Aprons are available when painting but please be aware that clothes may get messy. Siblings not participating in the crafts are welcome along for free.

Our Cosmeti-Craft Workshops are a great way of learning a new skill and having some fun making your own cosmetics. Children from age 5 upwards can have fun learning about colours and smells while older children experience a more detailed tutorial on the uses and effects of cosmetic ingredients.
