With addiction affecting millions worldwide, the need for support and understanding has never been greater. According to the World Health Organisation, an estimated 35 million people suffer from substance use disorders globally, yet only 1 in 7 receive treatment. In the UK alone, around 275,000 adults are in contact with drug and alcohol services each year, highlighting the widespread impact of addiction. Whether you're personally affected by addiction, supporting a loved one, or simply seeking to understand more, this session will offer valuable perspectives and strategies for change.

For New Mums And Their Children Improve Wellbeing We offer time to discover what you and your child enjoy. We explore mindfulness and grounding exercises for mums/carers and babies. Enjoy The Fresh Air A cosy campfire, campfire treats, play, crafts and walks in the woods are very much part of these sessions and make the most of being outdoors. Story telling and singing, seasonal crafts and getting hands on in the mud kitchen give your child lots of options for fun in the fresh air. Build Connections Building connections with your babies and other mums is a very natural progression as you have time to relax and enjoy each others company. Supporting All New Mamas Wednesdays 11am - 1pm (term time) Mamas in nature supports new Mums and their babies. This safe, supportive space can bring everybody positivity, connection and joy. The feed back from Mums is really positive with members feeling more relaxed, supported and calmer. Mama’s in Nature is partly funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and is only £3 per carer per session. Access to these sessions is for existing attendees or via social prescribing. What you might need We are outside all year round so warm and waterproof clothes (for you and for baby) will help you enjoy the sessions. We have a range of outdoor clothing, slings etc which can be borrow for the sessions at no charge, so don’t worry if you don’t have all you need. If you have a sling or pushchair suitable for woodland walks and a change of clothes for baby, as they may get muddy and wet, bring them along. We also have use of an indoor space where needed. 

The Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support for Adults and Children (RQF) qualification has been designed for anyone who wishes to learn basic life support skills for adults, children and infants. It is also ideal for those who are qualified in providing first aid and are looking to refresh or develop their existing first aid knowledge.

This regulated and nationally recognised basic life support training (BLS) and management of anaphylaxis course allows students to hone their skills and knowledge in BLS and AED use as well as anaphylaxis treatment. This first aid course is intended for individuals who have a specific responsibility at work, at home, or in volunteer and community activities to render basic life support and manage anaphylaxis in the event of an emergency. This course can be adapted to both adults and paediatrics.

The Level 4 Award in Immediate Life Support (RQF) is ideal for a wide range of healthcare professionals. This includes doctors, dental professionals, medical students, nurses, midwives, and physiotherapists who need an ILS qualification for their registration with regulatory bodies like the GMC, GDC, NMC, and HCPC. It's also perfect for those looking to advance in their careers or needing an ILS certification for new job opportunities.

This first aid course is designed for people who have a specific interest or responsibility at work or in voluntary and community activities, such as a first aider, in being able to provide basic life support (BLS) when dealing with an emergency situation that may involve the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).

The course concentrates on management skills and techniques for creating an effective supervisory relationship and process. Emphasis is placed on interpersonal skills. 2 Day Supervising First Aid for Mental Health course is a specialized program catering to leaders and supervisors, equipping them with essential skills to foster a mentally healthy work environment.

This course includes all the content of the 1 day First Aid for Mental Health, and in addition provides insight into a wider range of mental health conditions. It explores the range of therapies and professional support an individual may be offered. The course is suitable for all within a workplace although is aimed at those who hold a supervisory/managerial level position and/or are responsible for implementing a positive mental health culture for First Aid for Mental Health within an organisation.

Care/Support planning will cover a range of topics including assessments, record keeping and managing information. The training will give your care and support workers the knowledge and understanding to effectively write a care plan for the people they support and ensure a clear log is kept ready for CQC inspections. Explore the key features of Care Planning including person centred planning and the promotion of personalised services including goal setting.
