The 2-hour Baby & Child First Aid class covers CPR, Choking, Bumps, Burns, Breaks, Bleeding, Febrile Seizures and Meningitis & Sepsis Awareness and will give everyone who attends the peace of mind they deserve.

Our *NEW* Mini First Aid Baby Proofing class is our second class, designed for parents and carers of babies and children over 3 months. It can be taken after our 2 hour Baby and Child First Aid class, or in isolation for those parents who are starting their weaning journey, or have a baby on the move!

We use 'Scratch' for computer coding. Scratch is the world’s largest coding community for children and a coding language with a simple visual interface that allows young people to create digital stories, games, and animations. Scratch is designed, developed, and moderated by the Scratch Foundation, a nonprofit organization. Scratch promotes computational thinking and problem solving skills; creative teaching and learning; self-expression and collaboration; and equity in computing. Scratch is designed especially for ages 8 to 16, but is used by people of all ages. Millions of people are creating Scratch projects in a wide variety of settings, including homes, schools, museums, libraries, and community centers.  The ability to code computer programs is an important part of literacy in today’s society. When people learn to code in Scratch, they learn important strategies for solving problems, designing projects, and communicating ideas. 

Subject content Students will draw upon a range of texts as reading stimulus and engage with creative as well as real and relevant contexts. Students will have opportunities to develop higher-order reading and critical thinking skills that encourage genuine enquiry into different topics and themes. We can help students to read fluently and write effectively. Students will be able to demonstrate a confident control of Standard English and write grammatically correct sentences, deploying figurative language and analysing texts. For GCSE English Language students should: read fluently, and with good understanding, a wide range of texts from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries, including literature and literary non-fiction as well as other writing such as reviews and journalism read and evaluate texts critically and make comparisons between texts summarise and synthesise information or ideas from texts use knowledge gained from wide reading to inform and improve their own writing write effectively and coherently using Standard English appropriately use grammar correctly and punctuate and spell accurately acquire and apply a wide vocabulary, alongside a knowledge and understanding of grammatical terminology, and linguistic conventions for reading, writing and spoken language listen to, and understand, spoken language and use spoken Standard English effectively. Texts GCSE English Language is designed on the basis that students should read and be assessed on high-quality, challenging texts from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries. Each text studied represents a substantial piece of writing, making significant demands on students in terms of content, structure and the quality of language.  The texts, across a range of genres and types, support students in developing their own writing by providing effective models.  The texts include literature and extended literary non-fiction, and other writing such as essays, reviews and journalism (both printed and online). We can provide assistance for everything you need to prepare students for exams, including: past papers, mark schemes and examiners’ reports specimen papers and mark schemes for new courses exemplar student answers with examiner commentaries guidance in planning and writing cohesively high quality revision guides

Immerse Training is a fully regulated First Aid Training Provider. We love working in schools, nurseries and youth groups teaching young people how to keep each other safe and what to do if something goes wrong. With sessions sessions from 1 hour tasters for every class in a school, to after school first aid clubs, Immerse Training are certain to design a programme that’s right for you, your budget and your children.   We currently deliver First Aid and Life-Saving skills across a variety of settings to groups of children and young people from 4 to 14 years old, when they are able to participate in accredited First Aid courses. All of our First Aid Training for Children courses are designed in collaboration with qualified childcare practitioners and child health clinicians. Our programmes can be tailored to meet any area of the curriculum from Early Years Foundation Stage through to Key Stage 3. First Aid Training for Children is a great way to prepare young people for specific activities such as Duke of Edinburgh expeditions, babysitting and sports leadership. Our training for young people is fun, engaging and focuses on fundamental life saving skills.  All courses can be delivered at our training centre in Poole, Dorset or we can deliver on-site across Bournemouth, Poole, Dorset, Hampshire and the South of England.

The QA Level 3 Award in Administering Emergency Medical Gases (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification that has been specifically designed for those who have a responsibility for providing treatment to patients who need medical gases administering in prehospital environments. During this 1 day course, candidates will learn how to safely administer emergency oxygen, pre-operational inspections for oxygen therapy equipment and the clinical need for oxygen therapy when dealing with a range of conditions. Successful candidates will leave with the skills, knowledge and competencies needed to safely administer prompt and effective medical gases in an emergency situation.

the stained glass summer class at rainbow glass studios August 7th - 11th 2023 is designed to teach all the traditional techniques needed to make a large stained glass panel. This class is for all abilities and is carried out in a well equipt studio in London.
