Combined with Stage 2, students receive a leaner version of our Level One Detailing course without the emphasis on self-employed business skills. The aim of the course is to improve the efficiency, health & safety, and knowledge of their in-house valeting operation. Combined with level 2, students receive a leaner version of our Level One detailing course, without the emphasis on self-employed business and marketing skills. It focuses instead on core skills employers need in a valeting team; Efficiency Safety Consistency and Results It can be taken by one managing member or a whole team, and is perfect for any experience - from new-starter to long-time member of staff. The day starts with a look at chemical knowledge and safety to ensure all employees know the precautions and potential effects of the chemicals they are using in their work - both to themselves and the materials they are working on. Coupled with general safety at work regulations and delivered by a certified instructor, this will ensure your due diligence and compliance are covered and educate attendees on the importance of chemical safety. We then move on to the practical element, working through all the stages of a consumer-preferred safe wash and interior valet, from inspection through to protection applications, all in the most time-efficient manner possible to deliver showroom results, with demonstration and involvement in all stages and time management to ensure a constant and predictable workflow. By the end of the Stage 1 day, attendees will be well versed in all aspects of basic valeting skills and can either return to implement their new skill set or progress to Stage 2 to enhance the value further. Courses can be attended by up to 6 employees at a time, and for 3+ attendees the day can be run remotely at your own premises, subject to a few additional costs. BOHS P304 is designed to give practical guidance on assessing the health risks caused by hazardous substances, in order to meet the requirements of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002 for a 'suitable and sufficient' risk assessment.

The main subject areas of the course are: Building construction and the uses of asbestos Survey types Bulk sampling and material assessments Survey reports Quality control

Asbestos surveyors, or managers of surveyors and surveying teams. Asbestos re-inspectors or anyone that undertakes asbestos re-inspections. Those who require a detailed understanding of asbestos surveying principles (e.g. asbestos report writers, architects, building surveyors etc.) Prior Knowledge and Understanding Candidates for this course are expected to be aware of the contents of HSG 264 Asbestos, the survey guide and have a minimum of six months prior experience of assisting on asbestos surveys. In addition, candidates are expected to have had training to cover the core competencies outlined within the foundation material detailed within Table A9.1 of HSG248 Asbestos: The Analysts' Guide (July 2021). This may be achieved by In -house learning or through the P400 foundation module.

If your streetworks card is about to or has already expired, you will need to take a NRSWA reassessment course. You are not able to work on a streetworks site with expired certificates. You can take reassessments at anytime before your certificates expire and the remaining time left before expiry is now added to your new card. For example, if you take your reassessment with 6 months still remaining, it will be added to your new card when you receive it, resulting in 5 years and 6 months on your card expiry. If you completed your NRSWA Operative or Supervisor course with us, we will advise you that you will need to complete the reassessment course within 3 months of the expiry date. Who Should Attend This course is aimed at candidates that require the knowledge to enable them to comply with working at height regulations, and go in depth into industry dangers and respectability when working at height.  This course can be completed by both novice and experienced candidates. We also offer refresher tests. Novice course- 1/2 day Experienced worker tests- 1/2 day. Course information Category N404 Safe Working At Height It is envisaged that by the end of this course of training the learner will be able to answer questions on and perform the following: ➢ Have a basic understanding of the industry, the dangers of working in the industry and their responsibilities when working at height ➢ Be able to define height work and identify the hazards of work above ground level and outline the general requirements necessary to control them ➢ Be able to identify accident causation in work at height ➢ Have an appreciation of planning and organisation of work at height ➢ Set up exclusion zone explaining actions required for emergency actions, identifying any overhead hazards ➢ Identify and maintain PPE appropriate for safe working at height use ➢ Demonstrate working at height and explain all safety issues that could arise Assessment Assessment will be to NPORS standards consisting of a theory test.
