The course is both theoretical and activity based in nature The participant will receive up to date research based information relating to Acquired Brain Injury and appropriate learning and behavioural & management strategies to use and coupled with person centred approaches can help promote recovery and positive self image.
This course will start by giving you an overview of some of the common types and causes of learning disabilities, characteristics and behaviours and how they affect people. We will consider which learning & behavioural strategies are appropriate and how using a person centred approach to care will get the best results and ensure that needs of the individual are effectively met. We also discuss overcoming the stigma attached to learning disabilities

Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene in Catering Course
This is the Premier Squad Drill Competition of the Battalion, open to all Companies. 1 A Squad of 12 drilling in threes is required. Staff Sergeants are not permitted to participate in the squad. 2 Companies with fewer than 15 NCOs or Boys on their roll may enter a squad of a minimum of 10 Boys. Joint entries are encouraged. 3 Companies may enter more than one Squad, but no young person may compete in more than one Squad. 4 Companies may, if they so desire, have an NCO drill the Squad. 5 The Bowie Cup will be presented to the winning Squad.
