Don't worry if you don't have a sewing machine, as we have machines you can borrow. - Threads and a sewing kit (you can buy one from us if you want) - Notepad and pen The workshop is limited to 6 people per session. We offer an introduction to sewing machine workshop too, if you wanted to get to grips with your machine. You will receive a confirmation email after booking from our website. The session will be focused on the creation and personalisation of rings and pendants and led by Stööki's jewellery technologist Nadia Abbas. In this workshop you will: Get an insight in to the jewellery making process Receive a wax ring or pendant template to customise with your own design Get a tutorial covering a range of jewellery making techniques The aim is to have a finished wax master at the end of the workshop that can be taken home, but there is also the option of turning your personalised wax ring or pendant into a finished jewellery piece. We have a team of experienced technicians who can assist you and guide you with your project. This workshop is a session when you can get to ask and do whatever you want. Ideal for people with a clear idea of what they want to get from a workshop. We offer a 1 to 1 workshop on paper printing, fabric printing and t-shirt printing, from beginners to intermediate level.   Please, take into consideration that 1to1 for project support would include some added cost, but you will still need to supply your own fabrics and inks. Check with us what would be included or not in your 1to1 before booking to avoid disappointment.   The workshop would be 4 hours and it can be booked from Monday to Friday, depending on availability.   We will need at least one week notice to make sure we have someone available for the date you need, the earlier you can book the better to avoid disappointment. 1 DAY T-SHIRT PRINTING WORKSHOP £75.00 The perfect introduction to t-shirt screen printing, our beginner workshop is ideal for anyone interested in learning the complete screen printing process or simply looking to print some t-shirts with their own design for a special occasion. The sessions will run from 10am – 4pm with a 1 hour break for lunch. The day will be split as follows: Morning After a short intro into the studio and the process you’ll guided through how to coat and expose your design onto your screen. Afternoon After lunch we’ll cover ink mixing and the process of setting up the t-shirt carousel ready for printing. When the screens are dry and colours are chosen everyone will have a go at printing their t-shirts. The sessions will run from 10am – 4:00pm (subject to class size) with a 30 min break for lunch. The day will be split as follows: Morning After a short intro into the studio and the process you’ll guided through how to coat and expose your design onto your screen. Afternoon After lunch we’ll decide on colours and select print pastes and go through the process of setting up the fabric tables ready for printing. When the screens are dry everyone will have a go at printing their fabric. Each person will walk away with 1 metre of fabric printed with their own 1 or 2 colour design.
