Please bring along the manual and all the accessories that came with it including spare bobbins and the bobbin case if applicable. Don't worry if you don't have a sewing machine, as we have machines you can borrow. - Threads and a sewing kit (you can buy one from us if you want) - Notepad and pen The workshop is limited to 6 people per session. We offer an introduction to sewing machine workshop too, if you wanted to get to grips with your machine. You will receive a confirmation email after booking from our website. This workshop is suitable for adults and kids. What should I bring with me to the workshop? Bring your own sewing machine with it’s power cable if you are not borrowing from us. The manual and all the accessories the machine came with Bobbin, bobbin case if applicable Threads and a full sewing kit. You can purchase one from us Notepad and pen How many participants will attend this workshop? There will be a maximum of 6 participants at this workshop. Small groups work best as everyone gets a chance to learn and ask questions. Please note: The workshop would be rescheduled if there are less than 3 participants booked for the date. Is the venue wheelchair accessible? Unfortunately, this venue isn't wheelchair accessible. There are 2 short sets of stairs to get to the room. Hello all you interested crocheters out there! Hungry for a new crochet stitch to take your crochet to the next level? Come and join us here at Stitch! and learn mosaic crochet with the wonderful Kay Dudman. This is a technique that gives you the opportunity to use two different colours without changing wool. You can create beautiful geometric designs with whatever colour combinations you like. During this workshop you will be covering inset and overlay mosaic techniques. You will be working on a panel learning the these basic techniques that you can continue at home to make a blanket or you can incorporate it into other projects. (Please note that this is not a beginners crochet class you are required to know the basic stitches for crochet.) Avid beginners looking for new crochet variations- come and enjoy! Bring your overlocker to class and I will teach you all you need to know about threading it, changing it from 3/4 thread and back, changing the needles, adjusting stitch length and differential feed etc. I only have one overlocker here and in any case it is definititely something you want to do on your own, so you will need to bring your machine to this class.

1 TO 1 WORKSHOP £95.00 Are you looking for advice and learning in a personal way? Do you want to have someone just for you to help you develop a project? We have a team of experienced technicians who can assist you and guide you with your project. This workshop is a session when you can get to ask and do whatever you want. Ideal for people with a clear idea of what they want to get from a workshop. We offer a 1 to 1 workshop on paper printing, fabric printing and t-shirt printing, from beginners to intermediate level.   Please, take into consideration that 1to1 for project support would include some added cost, but you will still need to supply your own fabrics and inks. Check with us what would be included or not in your 1to1 before booking to avoid disappointment.   The workshop would be 4 hours and it can be booked from Monday to Friday, depending on availability.   We will need at least one week notice to make sure we have someone available for the date you need, the earlier you can book the better to avoid disappointment.
