Emotional Intelligence 1 Day Workshop in Oxford

The Highfield's Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work Course meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, that all organisations must have adequate first aid provision. This 1 day course is suitable for smaller, low risk organisations who feel that the syllabus listed below meets the type of injuries common in your workplace and industry. This course covers the syllabus as laid down by the HSE.

Learners will be introduced to the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of CCTV systems.

A ½ day short City and Guilds 2393-10 course aimed at anyone involved in electrical installations in dwellings. The Government approved Document P (electrical safety) came into effect on the 1st January 2005. For the first time the mainstream work of domestic electrical installers became subject to the requirements and procedures associated with Building Control. Domestic Electrical installers need to appreciate the requirements that apply to building work they carry out in connection with their electrical work, and they need to understand the way that Building Control works and the procedures that need to be followed. This short City and Guilds 2393-10 course is to enable those involved in the installation of electrical systems within the domestic environment to gain an understanding of how electrical installations in dwellings must comply with all relevant Building Regulations and how electrical installations in dwellings can affect the building construction. Please note that this City and Guilds 2393-10 qualification is only suitable for those practising their trade in England and Wales due to their being different regulations in Scotland and Northern Ireland. The City and Guilds 2393-10 examination is a 40 minute open book pc based assessment and will be held in the afternoon following the course, with instant results. The City and Guilds 2393-10 course costs include examination entry fees.

One day e-ALS Course. The ALS course is designed for healthcare professionals who would be expected to apply the skills taught as part of their clinical duties.

Feel free to share with friends you think might enjoy! These interactive walks are for curious adults, and a gentle way to explore your creativity and to get to know yourself better. On Saturday 9th August we will explore poetry, breath and movement along with the inspiration of the woodland treescapes On Saturday 13th September we will walk with the story of Hansel and Gretel This event is by donation, on the day, and funds will contribute towards future walks. Course Summary Mini Medics - First Aid The Mini Medics courses is a Child friendly introduction to first aid and defibrillation aimed at children between the ages of 8 and 11, but it can suit children of any age from about 5 upwards. The course is kept at a basic level with no use of confusing terminologies. The mini medics course will show complete respect for the child’s ability, make it educational and practical, and instil the importance of helping someone who is poorly or injured. Fully illustrated 24-page ‘First Aid for Children’ book • A unique syringe pen in various colours (or colouring pencils) • A 4-page worksheet There is also the opportunity to purchase t-shirts and hoodies - delivered at a later date Course Contents A range of subjects are covered including: What is First Aid?
