		<h4>Delivered over 2-3 days face to face or 4 x 3 hour virtual sessions with 1-2 follow on individual coaching sessions. If the group is small, e.g. 4-5 people, 2 days would be realistic. If the group is larger eg 10-12, then a 3rd day is key for time to practice &amp; feedback. </h4>

<li>Writing &amp; delivering a short piece to camera - being clear about your 'red thread', using the 'power of 3' to both remember &amp; land the message</li>
<li>Conducting an interview with impact - relaxing the guest, asking short open questions, actively listening, probing for impact</li>
<li>Handling difficult questions - being ready to do so &amp; how to answer with empathy </li>

		<h3>Prerequisites</h3>
		We suggest a blended learning approach to the programme with some self managed learning upfront &amp; post activities to embed the training.
We would suggest some initial engagement with the team to undertake our own research &amp; tailoring of the final programme &amp; approach. And an upfront session with key leaders to hear their perspective &amp; how they will follow up the training.
Each element would be highly practical &amp; engaging - getting each learner involved early &amp; throughout.
A series of practical exercises would be built in including some 'live role play' practice (option - with actors) &amp; specific feedback.
From the outset, each learner would create their own personal development plan where they capture key learns &amp; specific feedback to work on. If the programme is run virtually, we suggest a few days between each session in order to apply the learning &amp; follow up on progress.
Whether the programme is run in person, virtually or a blend of both, we suggest some additional individual follow on 1 to 1 coaching.

This one day course will support teachers and RSE leads in special colleges and special schools with post 16 learners to deliver a meaningful curriculum through the Preparing for Adulthood outcomes. The course will explore key issues for older learners, including how to teach about practical aspects of relationships such as attraction and fancying people, starting relationships, negotiation and consent discussions, and how to keep yourself safe.
