At the heart of everything that we do is our passion for education and our commitment to our students. Thanks to our varied course selection and unique teaching techniques, our school has been ranked as the top Swimming School time and time again. Rubba Duckies is located in the heart of Guildford, and reflects the vibrant energy of the area. The skilled team members are here to help students achieve their goals. We operate out of two locations in Guildford, Surrey. Each pool offers different facilities and will suit different levels and needs. Fort Road Pool This pool is located at our home, it is a small pool and due to the location, we are only able to offer lessons Monday to Friday between 9:30am - 5:30pm. We only offer private 1-1 or 2-1 lessons at this pool. Our speciality at this venue is babies, toddlers and any children with any special needs or a fear of water. It is small and only one class can take place at a time. There is less distraction and due to the small classes, so we can work at your child’s pace and make them feel comfortable in an environment that they may be less fearful in. The cost of lessons at this pool are as follows: 1-1 lessons £40.00 per child per lesson 2-1 lessons £25.00 per child per lesson Boxgrove School Pool This is a great pool at a school in the heart of Guildford. The pool is 20m long and we are able to accommodate various skill levels. We start with Parent and Baby classes and go all the way through to adult fitness sessions and everything in between. We offer lessons at this pool on the following days: Monday 6:30pm - 8:30pm Thursday 6:30pm - 8:30pm Saturday 1:00pm - 5:00pm Sunday 1:00pm - 5:00pm There are various classes taking place at the same time, so we do try and accommodate families with siblings. We are normally able to get siblings in the pool at the same time so as to avoid multiple trips or long waits around the pool. The cost of lessons at this pool are as follows: 1-1 lessons £40.00 per child per lesson 2-1 lessons £25.00 per child per lesson Group classes (4 per class) £13.00 per child per lesson NB: Please note that we do invoice monthly in advance and require one month’s written notice to stop swimming for any reason. If you wish to see if there is a space available, please let me know what day and venue suits you best. (More than one option is helpful). Please also let us know your child’s current swimming ability.

We are run by an unpaid Board of Directors made up of people with a wide range of skills. We review the blend of skills and experience annually to identify any gaps. This ensures we are continually achieving excellence in governance of the company. The Board meets regularly to measure performance against business plans and budget, monitoring our operating environments and adapting policies and strategies as required. Hi, I'm Loren Snow: an autism trainer based in Bristol. I’ve spent the past decade studying mental health, psychology, relationships, identity, and just about anything to do with why we humans think and act the way we do. I believe that we're all human, and make mistakes, fumble, fall, laugh, love - and despite our differences, we all share this same connection. I'm a strong believer in having the courage to be open and honest and that our truth and vulnerability can be powerful forces in showing us how connected we really are. In my early-twenties I was diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, and OCD. For me, these were revelations, and all the strange ways I behaved started to make sense. But why in my twenties... surely someone should have noticed or said something?!? As I came to learn more about autism I soon realised that my experience was all too common. The reality is there are many complicated things around autism, such as echolalia, alexithymia, and proprioception; there are many misconceptions in the media, such as autistic people lacking empathy; and there are many mis/un-diagnosed autistic adults out there like I used to be. This made me decide that I should explain these things so others wouldn't have to struggle as I did. I've spoken on podcasts, radio, to large and small crowds. My YouTube videos have been watched by tens of thousands! I've taught thousands of parents of autistic and ADHD children and teach regular courses to parents and autistic people. I see many businesses confused about how to help, parents lost on what to believe, and autistic people struggling to understand themselves. So what better place to learn about autism than directly from an autistic person like myself!
