PHOENIX POTTERY AND ART STUDIO , An Artist owned studio. Located in Phoenix House, in Golborne, Cheshire. Our creative space in our purposefully designed studios in Golborne nr Warrington offers Pottery classes, Art/ Crafts Workshops and Mindfulness sessions ( Pottery and creativity for Health and well-being ) plus Alternative Ceramic Firing such as Raku and saggar firing. We also provide fully equipped studio space for supported sessions. This enables those with previous handbuilding experiece to work independently on their own projects with a technician/ teacher on hand for  technical / glazing advice / support.  Our studio can be hired for running your own ceramics / Art/  Craft Workshops. We can also arrange private individual/ group bookings.  The purposefully designed space is comfortable and welcoming and warm, with a nurturing and creative atmosphere.   With easy access from the M6, M62, M58 and M56 motorway networks. approx 20 miles from Manchester and Liverpool.  WE ARE DELIGHTED THAT PART OF OUR NEW PREMISES ARE FULLY ACCESSIBLE, OFFERING  EASY ACCESS AND DISABLED TOILET FACILITIES. Hi I’m Jane and I was born and bred in Northumberland but I am now living in Preston Lancashire having travelled around the northern part of the UK a little bit, following a career managing hotels for most of my working life. I got to a point where things were drastically changing, customer service was going out of the window at the expense of the company solely looking to make money, not caring about the people who worked in it or used it as customers. This goes against my beliefs of helping others enjoy their time out and have a great experience with you. I set to looking for alternative roles within the catering industry getting pipped to the post every time. Whilst on holiday in 2005, I read an article about pottery painting studios, looked into it, found a course the next weekend. I went to the course, returning 2 days later announcing to my husband I was leaving the hotel to set up a pottery painting studio. It wasn’t quite that simple but it did happen and so Fired 4 U was born eventually in July 2006.

With expert knowledge of British Craft and Design, The Gallery has grown over the years to host a diverse range of both handmade and design led goods from all over The UK. Now run by their daughter, Kate O’Farrell, the business has grown to incorporate an exciting array of Craft and Design workshops set within a creative hub of artists and makers.

We use our professional training and experience in MUSIC, MEDICINE, EDUCATION, PSYCHOLOGY AND MEDIA to create and deliver bespoke music sessions for your group’s health. From physical to mental health conditions, we use current research to inform our delivery and promote wellbeing.
