Junction 31 Gas Skills Centre is a cert-ain accredited assessment centre for the training and assessment of both natural gas and LPG boilers, heaters, cookers & gas meters. Committed to flexible and effective training Junction 31 is based in Castleford, West Yorkshire and offers a range of gas courses and training for both new and experienced engineers. Neil Sidebottom, the director, has many years experience on the road as a gas engineer and has delivered a range of gas training courses for his previous employer Carillion Energy Services. Neil is passionate about delivering high quality support and guidance to ensure all engineers leave the centre with the confidence, skills and knowledge to comply with current legislation and deliver safe gas services to their customers. The key difference between Junction 31 and other training providers is the bespoke 1-2-1 service which Junction 31 can provide. There are no fixed course times, we understand people have other commitments, so we schedule your training when it's suitable for you, this includes evenings and weekends. The majority of courses are delivered 1-2-1 however we can offer group booking discounts.

Our inclusive service is available to all residents of the City of Bristol, delivering a range of resources to assist individuals (particularly those that are isolated), employers and providers. We use a coordinated approach referring participants to local providers where appropriate, using the existing Ways2Work network (and others) to ‘join the system’. We provide personalised employment support that meets the needs of both the work ready and those with complex barriers preventing them from entering the job market. We offer assistance to employers to help them match the right people to the right jobs and guidance on how to be inclusive employers. Employers and providers are offered opportunities to promote their organisations and the chance to share insights into how they can help. Steering Group and Planning Groups In order to deliver the best service possible One Front Door works with local providers, forming planning groups that help us connect to, and better understand, Bristol’s isolated communities. We also have an experienced steering group, comprised of representatives from different organisations across the city, that offers us guidance on strategy and direction. We are part of Bristol City Council’s Employment, Skills and Learning team.
