We provide a diverse learning environment that offers direct support to help young people to develop transferable skills and explore potential employment or further training opportunities. YEP assists young people to help them make informed and positive decisions about their own future. We aim to provide young people with independent living skills, and this is achieved through pastoral support and a range of vocational and academic courses.

I just wanted to give you a bit of an insight into my personal journey and how I got involved in fitness and what has inspired me to want to help others achieve their personal fitness goals. On the May Bank Holiday of 2008 my life took a sudden, unexpected change. After a normal night out with friends, drinking the usual G & T, I returned home, went to bed as I usually would and slept well. I woke up as I normally would and then I started to feel a little unwell, I put this down to a hangover. I took a small nap, to wake up to something that changed my life in an instant. I found that my speech was badly distorted and slurred; thinking this would pass I carried on with my day.

The International Futsal Academy (IFA) is a unique Futsal and Education programme designed to provide Further and Higher Education level studies alongside elite futsal training programmes. Our programmes not only offer world-class education in partnership with Loughborough University and Loughborough College but also the best futsal coaching in the best sporting facilities in the UK. High quality coaching and development is the foundation to the IFA programme. All IFA students are supported with additional performance analysis, nutrition, strength and conditioning, and academic support. The IFA gives student athletes a wealth of additional opportunities. Amongst many other things all student-players have the opportunity of sponsorship through the FA Futsal Level 1 and 2, regular CPD workshops and seminars, and opportunities to play or coach futsal abroad.

I qualified as an infant massage teacher in 2016 and extended my qualifications to deliver yoga, sign and messy craft sessions. I juggle this with being a mother to my daughter. Before taking time off to have my daughter, I worked as a teacher and Head of Department in a Secondary school for almost 9 years within; Health and Social Care and Nutrition, at GCSE and A Level. During the first year of motherhood I was diagnosed with postnatal depression, which was a little bit of a shock. I had no idea about it, had never heard of it, didn't know how I would be treated and helped along and I had hundreds of questions. Eventually once I was able to find the correct support for me, things improved and I felt safe. My whole experience as a first time mum suffering postnatal depression led me down this path. I was keen to help and support other parents and carers, creating fun sessions for all who attend, to support all individually who attend, in all aspects of health. Making individuals feel safe, supported and cared for whilst enjoying fun and engaging sessions. The thing I love about baby massage and yoga, is the way it can help new parents build or enhance that bond with their new born and it is very instant - I can literally see it happen before my eyes, and this is a very special time. I love the way all of our sessions helps both parent or carer and the child. It is so wonderful to see all who attend go one a journey. Giving individuals the skills, the confidence and self-esteem to re-create sessions at home. I hold the Touch Learn International Qualification in Infant Massage, Baby Yoga and Baby Signing and a full and valid first aid certificate as well as a yearly updated DBS

SHaW Control is a non-profit organisation specialising in children’s weight management. Its main goal is to offer children and young people also families, health and fitness management to enhance quality of life and longevity through fun physical activity, nutrition education and lifestyle modification. Shaw Control helps overweight and obese children and young people to ‘Change their lifestyle’ for life. We deliver a program of health and fitness activities that support them in their journey to control and maintain a healthy weight. This is all achieved through Changing Lifestyle clubs and residential camps. Shaw Control also delivers health and well-being programs in primary schools which focuses on helping the children to make successive small behaviour changes that will contribute to them leading a healthy lifestyle Shaw Control has now extended its services to offer Health and Wellbeing programs for schools. It has designed programs to help schools improve the mental, social and emotional health of both staff and students through a variety of innovative activities.
