If you're looking for a new skill to master, look no further. This silver clay workshop is the perfect way to spend a morning learning a new skill and having a blast in the process. During this workshop, you'll learn how to roll, cut, add texture, fire, and finish your piece. You'll be able to take your pieces home on the same day! You'll leave with something truly unique—and have had an exciting experience learning something new.

Join us for a hands-on workshop where you will learn the basics of silver clay work. You will practice rolling, cutting, adding texture, firing and finishing your pieces. You will leave with a greater understanding of the process and the confidence to continue working with this exciting material at home. You'll leave with a finished piece of jewellery that you can wear proudly or give as a gift! There's nothing quite like making something yourself—and when you do it with silver clay, the process is even more exciting because of how versatile it is. You can create anything from simple charms to elaborate necklaces and earrings. Once you've learned this process, you'll be able to do it at home whenever inspiration strikes!

In this exciting, educational and intriguing full day sea glass course, you will be shown how to make your own solid silver jewellery pieces incorporating sea glass and take away your own unique pieces to wear and treasure or as gifts for loved ones.

Fun with felt flowers gives beginners all the basic information to learn felting around a resist. In the three and a half hours, students will make two different flowers, using different techniques, along with different centres. Workshops start at 10am. I can teach up to nine people here and I can also travel within 20 miles if someone wants a group of friends (minimum 5 participants) in their own house or school. Fabulous idea for a hen party! Please note, though, I do charge mileage. If you have a larger group (say WI or class parents) I am happy to run workshops for up to 20 people in your own venue. My workshops are not timetabled, so there is a great deal of flexibility on dates - just get in touch and we'll sort out a day to suit us both!Please also check out my other listings for Workshops in a Wallet. REFERENCE CODE 601/8330/5 COURSE LEVEL NVQ Level 2 THIS COURSE IS AVAILABLE IN Course Overview This qualification is aimed at those who are involved in installing roof sheeting and cladding systems and associated tasks on site working from drawings and specifications. It is not expected that candidates working in this industry all do the same activities or use the same equipment and machinery so there is a group of optional units to cover these matters, however all candidates will need to prove competence in preparing the resources required, installation of sheeting and cladding systems and rainwater goods (gutters, pipes, downpipes and angles (swan necks, off sets), brackets and supports, sumps, overflows and outlets). All work completed must be carried out in accordance with Building Regulations and Industry recognised safe working practices, including the disposal of waste. The qualification is structured to ensure that there is a high degree of flexibility within the units available and will allow employees from companies of all sizes and specialisms equal opportunity to complete. To provide this opportunity in addition to the core skills above, candidates will also be able to select optional units recognising skills including, repair and/or refurbishment of roof sheeting/cladding/rainscreen systems, working with boom and/or scissor type mobile elevating platforms (MEWPs), installing solar collectors, use of ergonomic manipulating machines or slinging/signalling the movement of loads.
