This module aims to develop knowledge and understanding of the importance of customs documentation in the world of international trade to ensure both parties clearly understand the documentation that will be required in the import or export of goods or services.

This course looks at the procedures required to deal with customs. It is vitally important that importers and exporters understand the information required to be submitted.

We run regular Emergency First Aid at Work public courses or we can bring our training to you. Includes free annual refresher video training. Ideal for low risk organisations.

Thanks to funding from Lancashire County Council, Active Cycles Bike Hire Library is offering adult bikes for hire completely free of charge. Bikes are available to hire for as little or as long as you'd like, subject to availability. There are a range of sizes and styles of bikes available, so if you have a particular bike in mind please let us know when making your booking. Bikes can be collected from Active Cycles, Accrington Arndale Centre, BB5 1PL. When making your booking, the information you provide will be used for data monitoring purposes only. Card details will be taken at the time of booking as security in the event of damage or non-return of the bike, but no charges will be made unless necessary. Your details will be deleted from the system once the bike has been returned and inspected by a mechanic. If you do not have a bank card, please contact the shop on 01254 919393 or visit us in person on Tuesdays or Thursdays, 10:30AM - 3:30PM. We do not take same-day bookings via our website, however we may have availability so please call us to check. Once your booking has been created, it will be approved within 48 hours. Please bring your booking confirmation email with you when collecting your bike. Bikes cannot be hired out to those under the age of 18, you may be asked for proof of age upon collection if you look under 18.

A relaxed, fun course covering the basics of first aid; CPR, Dealing with Unconsciousness and Dealing with Choking. This course is recognised as a refresher for all First Aid Qualifications and a chance to get together with other first aiders and discuss all things first aid. It is not the same as a requalifier. If your certificate is due to expire you must attend a full course.

Our expert mechanics will be on hand to check the safety of your bike and perform small fixes to help get you cycling this summer! The Emergency First Aid At Work course covers worst case scenarios and some of the more common minor injuries. It is aimed at those working in lower risk areas such as offices and shops. You will need to attend a full 7 hours of trining (breaks included) First Aid Training at Splat is relaxed and enjoyable. We aim to help you learn and support you to get what you need from the day. There are some practical and some multiple-choice assessments but our job is to ensure you have everything you need to pass these easily. Please note that First Aid can be quite physical, you will need to be able to kneel on the floor to perform CPR and Recovery Position. Please wear comfortable clothing you can move around in, and, if possible, please let us know ahead of time if there is anything we can do to help support you and your enjoyment of the day.
