Join us for a transcendent afternoon of movement, medicine and connection. Join us for our biggest event yet at a new beautiful, light-filled venue in Hackney Wick! After 2 sell-out events, we've migrated to Vittoria Wharf for an afternoon of movement, plant medicine, and connection. Expect our signature epic tunes, delicious heart-opening cacao, and grounding Rapé to help you drop in. It’s the week before Melissa’s birthday, so join us to celebrate, Numinity-style - uplifting, free-spirited, and community-centred! This alcohol and drug-free space is your chance to leave the outside world behind, move freely, express yourself fully, and connect with our incredible community. Event Flow: Doors open at 1.30pm No entry after 2.15pm to maintain the integrity of the space. There'll be warm-up music from 1.30 - 2.15pm to help you settle in. Rapé will be served between 1.30 and 2.15pm - please book this when you book your ticket if you would like to receive Rapé. At 2.15pm, we’ll share a ceremonial Cacao together, a sacred plant medicine to open your heart and energise your body, preparing you for the dance. The dance begins at 2.30pm. Holly, our phenomenal resident DJ, will guide you through an eclectic mix of latin, house, tribal, and uplifting beats. Known for her ability to craft sets that permeate the body, mind, and soul, Holly will take you on a journey where every track invites you to move more freely and feel more alive. Cool down & Medicine Songs from 4 - 4.30pm. After the dance, we'll help you ground with a gentle cool-down session. Soften into stillness as we serenade you with some soothing medicine songs. Venue: Vittoria Wharf is one of the last remaining original warehouse spaces in Hackney Wick. The space is flooded with natural light, creating an inviting atmosphere perfect for connection and dance. With its unique blend of old and new, Vittoria Wharf serves both the vibrant incoming community, as well as honouring the long-standing creative groups and traditions that make Hackney Wick such a special place to live and work. The venue also features a beautiful balcony, offering a serene spot to take in the view. Etiquette: To create a safe and sacred space for everyone: No talking on the dance floor - let your body do the communicating. This is a sober event. Help us keep the space light and clear. Respect boundaries - honour your own space and the space of others. Barefoot or socks only on the dancefloor. No phones - stay present and enjoy the dance. Listen to your body - move in a way that feels natural and right for you. Refund Policy: You can cancel your booking automatically through Cademy with 7 days’ notice. Documenting a competitive rivalry between Maisie (85 years young) and her American counterpart Darcelle XV (87 years young), this battle of skill and wits is unlike any other you'll see this year. Showing in Studio A at Central Film School, this screening is being put on as part of the Clapham Fringe Festival, an amazing collection of stand-up comedy, dramatic shows and musical performances that brings the best of rising talent together.

It's also an integral part of any music student's learning journey. For years it's been packaged as a boring set of rules which must be learned simply to pass an exam, but we aim to change this. Most music students will already have some knowledge of music theory, so each of our students receive a unique course plan which only covers topics they haven't already learned. On top of this, every student is paired with their own personal music theory tutor who supports their learning throughout their time on the course. More than a memory test Our aim is to teach our students to understand the logic and process behind every topic, rather than simply memorise lots of data to pass an exam. We know that the more deeply something is understood, the less likely it is to be forgotten.  Regular feedback to keep you on track Even with the best intentions, buying workbooks and downloading worksheets can't guarantee that the work will get done. As soon as we know what your goal is, we aim to help you get there in the most efficient time possible. Your tutor will set you work for each week and we will send you reminders when work is due.  Less pressure on instrumental teachers As a lot of our tutors are also instrumental music teachers, we know how hard it can be to fit music theory into a flute/trumpet/violin lesson, and we think that your instrumental teacher should be able to give their full attention to helping you improve on your chosen instrument. Get your money's worth from your instrumental lessons, whilst we get you through your theory exam.

I started out in theater where I learned classical singing techniques. Ventured into writing my own music at the age of 14 and started my 1st band by the age of 15. From then to now I've worked with Rock, Country, Progressive, Acoustic, Heavy Metal and Blues bands. As well as musicals and show tunes. After high school I worked with my local community centre on opening and running our town's 1st music club, focusing on mentoring young bands and musicians. In my college years, while studying songwriting and music production in school I kept pursuing my vocal ambitions and began my work with more modern singing techniques and schools of thought such as SSL and CVT. After learning so much about the different aspect of voice production, new and old, popular and extreme, I decided it's time I ventured into teaching. Today I am a BAST graduate and a certified vocal coach. My hope is to enrich and guide as many like minded singers with the knowledge and experience I've accumulated over the years in a fun and exciting way! Singing is not only singing.
