Join me for a morning of Qigong and Breathwork This will be a fantastic opportunity to clear out old, stagnant, heavy energy that no longer serves you. Making way for new pathways of radiant health. Releasing stress, Releasing tension, lets breathe in the new you! In this morning workshop, well combine the deep healing breathwork, with guided breath awareness mediation and Qigong mindful movements to help you to reconnect with the power of your breath. Giving you the tools to help tackle stress and anxiety in our every day lives. We will begin by opening the body and waking up our energy with Qigong mindful movement to clear the winter heaviness. We will then get intimate with our breath using a breath awareness meditation. I will then guide you through a gentle and yet powerful Breathwork Journey. We will use conscious connected breathing to encourage deep detoxification of your body, releasing stuck energy and beliefs and resetting your whole nervous system. Opening your body and mind to new possibilities and leaving you to breathing more freely and naturally. If your looking to release stress and create more space for joy, peace and love then these sessions are for you. About Annalise Jones, Founder of Nurturing Minds I created Nurturing Minds from a passionate belief that all children should be provided with the tools to look after their own Mental Health in a positive and healthy way from as young as possible. I believe that this is the key to preventing the World's Mental Health crisis from becoming anymore severe. The harsh reality of today's society shows that 1 in 6 children and young people aged between 5-16 have a diagnosable Mental Health problem, whilst 70% of these children and young people are not getting the appropriate interventions that they need at an early age (ONS, 2020). The truth is that there isn't enough services to teach our children what they need to know about their Minds and how to look after them. So I made it my mission to do just that! Nurturing Minds uses Creative Mindfulness techniques to teach children, and their parents, about their emotions, feelings and behaviours and how these all link together to form our mind. The aim of this is to create a toolbox of resources that children and parents can access at any time in their lives. These experiences of Mindfulness will help support healthy brain development and will give children and their parents a chance to actively support their emotional regulation, which will in turn, promote positive Mental Health and Well-being. Using my knowledge of child development from my degree in Early Childhood Studies, as well as my experience working with children and families of all ages, I have developed an inclusive and welcoming environment for people to learn about their minds and to help them feel the benefits of Mindfulness on their own lives, just like I have felt it on mine.

Mindfulness Connected Learning delivers mindfulness courses, events and workshops to organisations, schools communities, young offenders, parents and families. Veronica is a qualified teacher with over 25 years’ teaching experience. She has taught a variety of ages and groups of children and young adults both within mainstream and special education, including children with severe learning difficulties and with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Her motivation in teaching mindfulness is to create a space where people feel safe and valued and where they can explore and experience the benefits of mindfulness practices in a relaxed and comfortable setting. She is committed to teaching children and adults how to integrate mindfulness into everyday life. Veronica works with individuals and groups to embed mindfulness into the culture of organisations and the communities that they house, and she is committed to enhancing working and learning environments by exploring the more challenging aspects of life and work in a safe and supported context. She is motivated to teach people how to still their minds and enrich their lives by developing a curiosity and deep appreciation of life. Through the practice of mindfulness, she helps create working environments where people can flourish and where workers, teachers, parents, young people and children can develop more harmonious, meaningful and connected relationships.
