Be realistic! Be practical! Ever had someone throw those words at you when you're sharing your biggest dreams? Yeah, we've all been there. The thing is, other people's words and actions can seriously mess with your creative visualization power – they basically clip your manifestation wings and hold you back from what you really want.
Once that seed of doubt gets planted, insecurity and fear don't just grow – they become these massive forests that feel impossible to navigate. But here's what we're gonna do about it.
Through some deep meditation work, you're gonna release all that stress and those blocks from your past months. You'll start feeling how your feet on the ground can actually be amazing support – not for staying small, but for planting your roots and feeling truly grounded in your power.
Your ability to create the life you want comes down to one thing: believing before you can see. It's literally the opposite of "seeing is believing" – and that's where the magic happens.
So yeah, I'm gonna ask you to close your eyes and dive into a guided creative visualization of your dreams. This is creation at its most raw and beautiful: when you learn to use your mind to create "something" from "nothing," you can literally achieve and manifest anything.
You'll discover how to use your inner compass and understand that every single manifestation is up to you. No one else – just you.
And then comes the Making Time – the creative part where you'll craft your beautiful Dream Catcher. We'll explore the origins of this Native American ritual and you'll see how this spiritual tool represents your life through its sacred circle.
Making something with your hands is gonna show you that transformation isn't some mysterious thing – it's literally accessible in the palms of your hands. Ready to make your dreams bloom?

We invite you to a sacred ciorcal art workshop inspired by the monuments of Edinburgh to
celebrate 900years. From the famous to the hidden, we will explore the city’s
architectural landscape and creatively express its beauty and unique features through mandala painting.
The teacher Rachael will open the workshop with a guided meditation, which will include questions to help you explore your relationship with both the well-known and lesser-known parts of the city. We will then research what feels significant to you, from patterns to styles. You’ll have the opportunity to start forming ideas for your mandala.
There are many directions you can take in creating your piece—for example, you might draw inspiration from the city’s Gothic architecture as a whole, or focus on specific sculptures at St. Giles’ Cathedral. You may pay particular attention to the symbolically placed flags or the animals scattered throughout the city (e.g., Greyfriars Bobby).
The teacher will encourage you to seek inspiration from books in the room, as well as from your own experience, to curate your unique relationship with Edinburgh’s heritage.
This could be depicted through spirals, patterns, lines, shapes and textures.
The majority of the class will be spent creating mandala-style paintings that are rich in
meaning and connected to Edinburgh’s heritage.
Materials will be provided, including paints, canvas pads, pens, and pencils.
The workshop will close by gathering in a circle, where everyone will be invited to share what they have created and reflect on what resonates with them about the city.

She has always drawn inspiration from the sea, with her walks to local beaches, particularly Wardie Bay during the lockdown, becoming not only a source of new ideas for her artistic practice but also a way to gather materials such as driftwood, pieces of plastic ropes, and seashells.
Anna has consistently sought to incorporate upcycled materials into her art, using her work to raise environmental awareness and promote art as an accessible medium for self-expression, regardless of financial circumstances.
In addition to participating in various art exhibitions and fashion-related events, she has delivered a wide range of art and craft workshops to diverse communities across Edinburgh.

24th August FREE FIND YOUR CENTRE WITH MANDALA BEAN ART
A mandala is basically a circle that becomes this beautiful container to hold all your ideas and emotions. We're gonna kick off our workshop together with this really relaxing meditation – complete with crystals and incense – to quiet that busy mind and find the right focus and concentration you need to create your mandala.
Once you're feeling ready and calm, you'll create your own personal mandala using different beans, letting your imagination run wild. (we'll glue them on paper)
While you're working, I'll be sharing the history, process, and meaning behind mandalas in a super easy way – we'll explore everything from how they show up in nature to their role in religion and art. I'll show you some incredible pictures of mandalas from around the world that'll blow your mind.
When your wonderful work is done, I'll guide you through a creative visualization to reconnect with your inner center.
Then here's the beautiful part – you'll choose 3 beans from your mandala and plant them with some cotton and water by your window at home. You get to watch them germinate and grow, and they'll become your new seeds for the coming months.
It's this amazing cycle – from creating your mandala circle to planting actual seeds that will grow into new life. Your inner work becomes outer growth, literally.
