The Care Certificate is a Five-day, instructor led course in a fully equipped training room. We use a mixture of training methods such as hands on activities, group discussion, games and the use of equipment / technology to cover the different learning styles of the individual. Learners will develop their knowledge, skills and understanding around the 15 care standards. Each of the 15 standards have specific learning outcomes and assessment criteria. The Care Certificate provides care staff with the fundamental skills to provide a quality, safe and effective service. The course covers manual handling of people and objects which is a full day course using equipment. Care providers are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and as a result must meet the Health and Social Care Act 2014 (Regulation 18 Staffing). Evidence of training and understanding is provided to support providers in their evidence of compliance. Instructions Attendees to arrive on time at 9.30am and will leave around 16.30pm It is important that learners are fit and well to participate in group activities. This one-day course is a must for all construction operatives! Prerequisites None - The course is intended either as an introduction or as a refresher. Assessment At the end of this course, all delegates will have a clear understanding of the requirements of Health and Safety Legislation and their responsibilities to comply with them. Certificate This course is covered by certification to provide to your Clients, CHAS (and other SSIP) as confirmation of training undertaken and is valid for 3 years. Our Health And Safety In A Construction Environment Training Course is a nationally recognised, Ofqual regulated qualification accredited by Highfields Qualifications. This course leads to the obtainment of the CSCS labour card, allowing workers to work on construction sites. The Ofqual Register number for this course is 603/2442/9

The aim of this module is to enable delegates to perform entry-type injured person rescue operations, in a Wind Turbine Generator, using industry standard rescue equipment, rescue methods and techniques, exceeding those of GWO Working at Heights. Valid GWO BST Module Working at Heights, GWO First aid and GWO Manual Handling certificates are prerequisites for participation.

The Level 1 Award in Construction Health & Safety is required by individuals who are looking to become eligible for the Green CSCS Card. A CSCS Card is required in order to access many construction sites, carry out basic duties and build relevant experience to enable them to progress their career onto the next stage allowing them to progress to a level 2 or 3 Qualification. This Level 1 Award will provide the basic knowledge and understanding of health and safety principles and procedures and delivers a comprehensive and technical overview in relation to many construction relevant topics that are operatives require in order to operate safely within the Construction sector. Topics covered include Risk Assessment, Manual Handling, Working at Heights, Moving Vehicles, Dust, Hazardous Substances, Asbestos, Welfare, Personal Hygiene, Fire, Work Equipment, Electricity, Underground Services, PPE, Mandatory signage and more!!!!! Candidates can undertake this qualification in a classroom based delivery followed by the CSCS test within a single day. The administration and photographs are included and the CSCS card is usually received within 5 to 10 days. The one day course can be delivered in any client venue or at various locations around the UK.
