This course will teach you everything you need to know about offering a professional manicure and includes a practical training session and assessment. Gel Polish treatments are an increasingly popular treatment within the professional beauty industry. Gel Polish is applied to the client’s nail and then cured using an LED or UV lamp to create a longer lasting nail treatment (up to 3 weeks) than a standard manicure. The GTi Gel Polish course covers how to complete gel polish application and demonstrates the correct removal techniques. The course also covers reception and consultation, contra-indications to treatment and aftercare advice. The GTi Tips With Acrylic Overlay course will teach you how to apply the Acrylic System (Liquid and Powder) in conjunction with nail tips. The course covers how to complete the application and demonstrates the correct removal techniques. It also covers reception and consultation, contra-indications to treatment and aftercare advice. On completion of the course you will receive three recognised and insurable qualifications.  Includes: 3 Hard copy take home training manuals. Duration – Fast track two-day practical classroom-based training plus online theory work. Theory work to be completed in your own time via The Guild student portal before your practical course date. Practical day – 10am – 6pm & 10am – 4.30pm inc short lunch break. It is advisable that students arrive 15 mins early to ensure a prompt start. In a lot of cases the practical training can be finished earlier than expected depending on how many students there are, and the time taken on practical work. This course is the starting point to becoming a nail technician. During this course you will cover basic manicure & pedicure services with a gel polish finish. 

Our manicure and pedicure diploma course will teach you all you need to know to perform a full professional treatment on your clients.  You will learn all about the anatomy of the nail and skin, what to look out for so you know when you can and cannot perform a treatment safely, how to assess your clients natural nail shape and emphasise a beautiful shaped nail, tidy up the cuticles, massage both areas, aswell as luxury treatments such as masks and exfoliation.. Also included in this course is a FREE Gel Polish certificate worth £150 you will be taught how to safely apply, maintain and remove gel polish from your clients nails.

This is the first stage in becoming a fully qualified Beauty Therapist. You will learn about health and safety for your work area, your client and yourself. We will provide you with the skills and information on how to perform traditional and contemporary beauty therapy treatments safely and effectively, to the current industry standards.

This course is for complete nail technology education. You will learn all about the nail. THE REQUIREMENTS Salon attire must be worn during the course. Student must have clean nail without enhancements and long hair tied back. To ensure maximum practice, students will be required to work on each other throughout the day or on own hands. The ABT Level 3 Diploma in Nail Services is a substantial vocational qualification that will confirm your competence as a nail technician.
