Hudson Blake was established as a sole trader in 2016, within 3 years we started to develop our own training room and staff team when we then registered as a limited company. We are run by Jennifer Hudson who has over 19 years experience in Learning Disability Nursing and so our strong specialism is Learning Disabilities. As our staff team grew so did our expertise and in 2022 we are able to offer a wide range of courses for all environments. We have a firm reputation for engaging, fun detailed courses and everything we deliver is evidence based. sarah brown psychology

Sarah Brown Psychology is a Clinical Psychology Service which specialises in the provision of psychological consultation, training, retreats and group/community practices with a systemic and community psychology lens.  Dr Sarah Brown is a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist. She had worked in the NHS since 2006 and has worked in independent practice alongside this since 2012. She spent the beginning of her career working in Learning Disability services with children and adults, as well as Autism assessment services. She has worked in community based child and family services since 2017 and with foster carers/ kinship carers and families and staff within social care services since 2020. Sarah is an Associate of the charity Platfform. She contributes to training around trauma informed services and supporting services to rethink their approach to mental health.  Sarah continues to be a member of SHIELDS - Systemic Hope in Engaging Learning Disability Systems. She has been working with colleagues to develop the ‘human inclusion project’, which is about promoting inclusion of all and moving beyond ableism.

Paloma Forde  is a leading expert in the field of special educational needs & dyslexia with 27 years in the educational sectore!   Early Intervention and Early Detection are essential!  She founded Dyslexia Support Services in April 2016 and by January 2017, already received recognition by Dragon Den's Theo Pathitis by winning Small Business Sunday. (Only 1% of 370 000 make it!)   She then went on to get recognition about her work by Jacqueline Gold (CBE) in June the same year.  She provides screenings, specialised tuition, assessments, workshops, webinars for parents & professionals and Growth Mindset coaching for kids.   She has worked across all Key Stages of the National Curriculum and currently supports private students as well as support students with asd at her local university.

Alison was born with short arms after her mother was prescribed Thalidomide by her doctor. This is a drug that was given to expectant mothers to ease their morning sickness. Alison has found ways to adapt to her daily life and embrace her disabilities. With over 15 years of experience, Alison has created workshops that aim to educate others on differences in an interactive and engaging way. Our workshops work with children to educate them and create a kinder and more accepting world for us all.
