He has polished and restored many famous silverware pieces including the Americas Cup; Cricket World cup, Wimbledon Cup, Dubai Gold Cup, Premier League Cup. He has also been privileged to work in the jewel house at the Tower of London restoring The Grand Punch bowl made in 1830 and used by the Royal family on many occasions. Also known for polishing the largest pure gold coins made by the Royal Mint the largest being the James Bond 7kg pure gold coin. He is a fellow of the Institute of Professional Goldsmiths (IPG) and their official ambassador and a Master of The Dutch Guild of Goldsmiths. Bring your jewellery making to the next level with our Silver Clay Workshop! We're offering an indulgent, one-to-one workshop that will allow you to really get your hands dirty. You'll learn how to set stones in silver clay, as well as how to create filigree and patina your pieces. You've been playing with silver clay for a while now, and you're feeling confident in your current skills. You have a vision in your head of what you want to create, but you don't know how to make it come to life. This is a great opportunity for intermediate jewellery makers who want to take their skills to the next level—or for those who are just starting out and want some guidance from an expert.

This workshop is open to beginners as well as intermediate-level students, so you can take your time and learn at your own pace. You'll be guided through all the steps of making jewellery from scratch, so you'll leave feeling confident in your skills whatever level you work at. The week is designed around you and you needs and aims. We'll have everything on hand that you need, including the silver clay and tools. We even provide the accommodation and endless tea and coffee to keep you refreshed throughout the retreat. The week will be an immersive experience that helps you feel like part of our family here at Gifted Crafts.

In this workshop, you'll learn how to make rings, filigree, and mirror-polished pieces with advanced techniques. You'll leave with a set of quality products that will show your true talent as an artist. And best of all? You'll be able to use these skills on more complex projects later on!

This set of 6 morning workshops (over 6 weeks) is designed to allow you the opportunity to explore a wide range of techniques to create beautifully unique fused glass jewellery & decorative objects. After a brief introduction to the historical context and language of fused glass you will be guided through using techniques such as scoring, cutting £0& layering sheet & accessory glass, adding mica or oxide powders to create sparkle and bubbles, use of kiln carving to create subtle textures, using inclusions of wire & precious metal foils and painting or stencilling with 'glassline' paints etc. you will create at least 2 pieces per session and these will be fired and ready to add finishing touches on the subsequent session ( pieces made during the final date will be fired & finished and ready for collection after 7 days) we will mainly focus on jewellery but larger items can be made eg.
