Hosted by Helen Worthington of Evendawn Arts With a full drawing provided in this workshop, you can enjoy simply painting this cheeky summer Seagull in lovely watercolours, and at the end you’ll have a fun friend to take home – although do watch out for your chips! We’ll do some ‘warm-up’ practice first - trying different brushes and tools, and mixing paints - so that you can be confident when it comes to painting the Seagull itself. There’ll be the opportunity to learn how to use masking fluid, and you’ll be shown how to create the fabulous texture in the rocks the gull is standing on. Please don’t forget to bring something with you to carry your project home in – a small lidded tray or box will be fine. All Welcome (Age 12 upwards). Full instructions will be given to everyone

Various dates are not available for your full day Pottery Experience. Fill instruction and demonstration throughout the day will enable you to try a variety of handbuilding skills and chance to have a go on a pottery wheel. Bring a packed lunch and join us for a day of clay play fun. Refreshments are provided. Cost includes all materials plus kiln firing and glazing of your finished small project pieces.

Ali will start with a short introduction and demonstration on how to shape your design, focusing on a crescent layout. You'll combine a mix of fresh and dried materials—think seasonal foliage, flowers, seed pods, and meadow grasses—to build texture and contrast. Step by step, you’ll layer and secure each element with wire, creating a balanced and eye-catching composition. By the end, you’ll have a unique, handcrafted wreath perfect for bringing a touch of nature into your space. Suitable for indoor or outdoor display. The Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (L3IFDHES) is usually a one-year pre-university qualification that provides students with an entry route to an overseas university.
