Basically, how do you manage without a studio and all its controllability, and end up satisfied with an expressive and successful portrait?It is essential to take the environment into consideration when composing a portrait. Managing the background's colours and graphics, choosing the point of view, directing the model - these are all points that will be covered during the course.Light control is an equally important aspect; in particular, analysing a given moment's light and using it wisely are elements that will be explained to help you make a successful portrait.This workshop will teach you:- How to observe the environment so as to guide your aesthetic choices: point of view, directing a model- How to "read" light and place your subject accordingly- How to correctly define parameters in your camera according to your desired result- How to frame and compose an image to highlight the subjectThe workshop includes a theoretical explanation, a main "practical" part, as well as a class debriefing at the end. Gel Polish treatments are an increasingly popular treatment within the professional beauty industry. Gel Polish is applied to the client’s nail and then cured using an LED or UV lamp to create a longer lasting nail treatment (up to 3 weeks) than a standard manicure. The GTi Gel Polish course covers how to complete gel polish application and demonstrates the correct removal techniques. The course also covers reception and consultation, contra-indications to treatment and aftercare advice. On completion of the course you will receive two recognised and insurable qualifications.  Includes: 2 Hard copy take home training manuals. Duration – Fast track one day practical classroom-based training plus online theory work. Theory work to be completed in your own time via The Guild student portal before your practical course date. A two-day Immunisation Training Course for Healthcare Support Workers/Healthcare Assistants (HCSWs/HCAs).

A half day course that looks at the implications of the recent NICE guideline changes to the management of hypertension. The course gives a brief introduction to the pathophysiology of hypertension and the ways in which it is investigated and treated.

This course will equip non-registrants to allocate patients safely into face to face or telephone appointments, with an appropriate practitioner or service. The course will also equip non-registered staff to question for, recognise and allocate patients with urgent health needs.

This course will enable registered Nurses, Midwives and AHPs to effectively supervise pre-registration students in clinical placement.

This course is aimed at health and social care staff who are both registered and unregistered, who work with or support individuals where safeguarding concerns are a possibility.

The Pass Plus Scheme is not a test, it is an evaluation by your instructor who, when satisfied that you are competent in each of the above types of driving situation will issue a pass plus certificate.

This course provides the underpinning physiology and disease process knowledge for HCAs, working with patients with preventable diseases.
