It will help you work more effectively by understanding the needs and recognising the strengths of neurodivergence. This will help you develop strategies to support performance and enhance wellbeing in the workplace. Duration 1 Day Course Overview This course is designed for teams with neurodivergent professionals who want to better navigate work environments, build on their strengths, and manage friction in everyday tasks. Through practical tools, reflection, and real-life strategies, you'll gain greater clarity and confidence in how you work best — and how to advocate for what you need to thrive. Participants will explore a range of neurodivergent profiles and learn how to adapt communication, adjust workflows, reduce workplace triggers, and advocate for a fairer and more inclusive culture. Course Summary: This workshop aims to increase awareness of Safeguarding and Protecting Children, helping coaches to recognise signs of abuse and poor practice, and deal sensitively and effectively with issues that arise. It also prompts a review of coaching practice to ensure that sport provides a positive and enriching experience for children. The 3 hour workshop covers the following and learners will be able to: Identify and recognise good coaching practice and the implications for them. Explore their values and feelings in relation to child abuse, and recognise how these may potentially impact on their response. Recognise and respond to the signs and symptoms of child abuse and poor practice. Take appropriate action if concerns about a child arise. If you require a group booking for your staff/volunteers, please select group booking to request a private group session. This option will require a minimum of 8 delegates. If we do not have 8 delegates the course will be rearranged for a later date.

LOOKING FOR: PICTURE BOOKS, YOUNG FICTION, CHAPTER BOOKS, MG, YA Alice set up Alice Williams Literary in 2018 after representing children's books for over ten years at David Higham Associates. She is especially keen to consider playful, funny books for all ages, and is on the lookout for heartwarming, empowering stories, whether in a realistic, contemporary setting, or a wildly imaginative fantasy world - or somewhere in-between. Alice is offering 121 sessions for young fiction, middle grade, YA and picture book writers. For chapter books, MG and YA fiction, please submit a covering letter, synopsis and the first three chapters of your manuscript in a single word document. For picture books, please submit a covering letter and two texts, or for illustrators one dummy and examples from your portfolio or a link to your website. Alice is only seeking to discuss texts/novels with writers living in the UK and Ireland. English does not need to be your first language, but you must be living within the UK or Ireland.
