3 Hours Description: This 3 hour course provides your first aiders with the opportunity to practice and update their practical skills, refresh theoretical knowledge and ensures that they are kept up to date with the latest first aid guidelines. Assessment and Certification Students are continuously assessed throughout the course. Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation and care of the unconscious requires physical effort. Learners should be capable of working with casualties at floor level. Certificates are issued on all first aid courses which includes the annual refresher course date. The HSE strongly recommend that all First Aiders undertake annual refresher training of at least 3 hours per year. This First Aid at Work training meets the statutory needs of employers in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland needing at least one First Aider on the premises. This training enables users to administer oxygen safely and effectively, for casualties with breathing difficulties. Delegates will learn how and when to administer oxygen to a casualty and the safety concerns with carrying, storing and administering it. This course is suitable for qualified First Aiders, Emergency First Aiders, dental practitioners and dental care professionals, nurses, healthcare professionals and others working in an environment where oxygen is available for casualty welfare.

The Emergency First Aid at Work Awareness Course is ideal for businesses, especially in low-risk environments. This course covers all the core competencies outlined by the HSE, making it an acceptable workplace first aid course. Completing this course allows you to be an appointed first aider in the low-risk workplace. It meets HSE workplace first aid requirements and aligns with the latest UK Resuscitation Council guidelines.
