SOUL WRITING FOR HEALING
Do you ever wonder at why you are feeling so heavy? Do you ever feel like there is an answer but you just can't find it? Perhaps you need some inspiration or to hear some loving words? Maybe you need some everyday tools to help you feel better than you just did.
This workshop uses writing as a therapeutic tool for releasing stress, exploring our shadows and giving voice to emotions and feelings that have been hidden away. It is a group therapy session for finding relief and to connect and feel whole again.
Soul Writing helps release and free the inner voice and creative spirit that lives within all of us. At the same time, it is a healing tool that can help us process old trauma and current issues. We are able to explore our shadows and our depths, offering new horizons from which to look at life. Soul Writing is for everyone.
Soul Writing is not a traditional writing course. It does not require us to be experts in spelling and grammar. It does not require us to be poets. It does not teach the mechanics of writing but rather encourages our unique voice to emerge. It helps us to find an inner flow of thoughts and words that we previously may have thought we lacked.
It is a therapy and a sharing process, conducted within a group workshop format. We begin to learn to come into heart coherence and flow state using meditation and a variety of timed writing exercises.
Many people have found the Soul Writing process to be unique, refreshing and easy to access. We are learning to ‘unthink’, ‘unplan’ and ‘undo’ the barriers that stand in the way of our healing, writing voice, creative soul and unlimited spirit.

Everyone is welcome. I run a 'Pay What You Can Afford' policy. Tickets are sold on a sliding scale. It helps to make the classes available to everyone. Please do pay what you can afford. This End of Life (Palliative Care) Course covers the issues and practices involved in caring for the terminally ill and is suitable for both healthcare professionals and individuals looking at optimising their care skills and practices.This course will help you to gain a better knowledge of the procedures and best practices which underpins end of life care. It will help you to learn about the delivery of optimal end of life care and improve your communication skills to strengthen working relationships with healthcare professionals during this period. You will also feel you have a much better understanding on how to support the friends and family of the person that you are caring for.In this online course, you will learn to address the ethical issues and characteristics of hospice and palliative care. You will also understand the assessment and management of pain. And you will be able to help patients and their families cope with dying, death, and the grief that follows and, in doing so, will ensure that the process is in the very best interests of the individual concerned.If you are an individual looking after a terminally ill relative this course bridges the divide between understanding how healthcare professionals work and understanding how your relative or friend should be managed by your support team.This course can also be combined with our&nbsp;Healthcare Practice (Fundamental Care Skills) Course&nbsp;which will also prepare you with a general and very solid foundation qualification in healthcare. Both qualifications combined will give you a total of 6 credits which you can also use towards other future qualifications (at many UK Colleges and Universities).Once completed you will immediately be able to download your pass certificate. (Your new accredited certificate will be posted to you within 6-8 weeks.)The nationally recognised and accredited certificate (awarded by the Open College Network) can be added to your existing certificate credit value (cumulative credits), and these may also count towards other similar college or university courses.This course will perfectly supplement any medical or nursing course, however specific, and is open to anyone.
