All our skippers and instructors are either fully qualified RYA Yachtmaster or Cruising Instructors with many years of experience sailing in Scotland and with years of offshore experience, sailing across the seas and oceans. They all have various other RYA qualifications and are keen to share their knowledge with you. Movement for Calmis an exercise-based workshop exploring yogic and muscle relaxation techniques from a range of practices. The aim is to release tension within the body. When we are stressed or anxious, we produce adrenaline, the 'fight' or 'flight' chemical response. Movement for Calm will help explore ways to restore balance to the chemical reactions produced in the body, loosening muscles and in turn calming both body and mind. This workshop has been developed for forward-thinking organisations wanting to make a real commitment to improving workplace wellbeing. This workshop will help participants identify areas of tension in the body, and learn exercises and movement-based sequences to release anxiety and stress caused by unnecessary muscle tension. The aim is that people leave the workshop relaxed and refreshed, ready to take on the toughest of corporate challenges.

This session will help you re-evaluate your approach to losing weight and give you the foundations for creating a plan that makes it easy for you to reach and maintain a weight that feels right for you. Take away a tool that will enable you to assess your eating type, whether you are a protein or carbohydrate based eater, and eating style, whether you prefer to be a grazer or three meals a day, and develop an eating plan that works for you. You will have the opportunity to: Explore the myths and reality of losing weight Examine self-defeating eating habits and how to replace them with energy enhancing food Learn about one change you can make today that will not only help you lose weight but improve your ability to think and manage your emotions more constructively
(9-10yrs) Ballet develops posture, strength, musicality and grace. Each dancer is unique and each body is unique and we teach the children to work within ones own body. Our Ballet classes include some set structured technical work from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance syllabus, along with some creative movement. All children have the opportunity to take ISTD Ballet exams when they are ready to be entered. TRIAL BOOKINGS: Of course you are welcome to watch the trial class but following the trial, WhizzDancers are expected to be independent in the room. TERM BOOKINGS: You are welcome to watch the first class but following this your WhizzDancer will be expected to go in the class independently. You will be expected to provide full uniform. Details will be sent following. We have lots of opportunities ahead for your WhizzDancer including exams and shows.
