This workshop is based on the book 'Sleep Recovery' by Lisa Sanfilippo, we will work through the 5 steps towards recovering your rest by identifying your sleep type, dealing with sleep saboteurs and learning about the science of sleep.
When a woman becomes pregnant, her body goes through a multitude of physical changes and adaptations, mentally and emotionally there are usually changes too and this all happens whilst she is not only the process of growing her baby, but preparing to delivering it into the world. Our 1-day diploma course for will prepare you to understand these processes and to safely treat your pregnant clients with nurturing and healing massage through all stages of their pregnancy, and to ease the common discomforts associated with pregnancy.
A one-day workshop on sabre coaching led by Truro Fencing Club's head coach, Balázs Kurucz. This workshop will focus on how to create a competitive training environment for sabre fencers and look at exercises for individual lessons. It is suitable for coaches who are already used to giving individual lessons (minimum British Fencing Level 2 or equivalent). Balázs leads the sabre programme at Truro Fencing Club, developing fencers from as young as 6 years old through to Junior and Senior World Cup levels. He has a wealth of World level experience in sabre in Hungary, Singapore and Mexico, and joined Truro in the Autumn of 2012. Balázs has produced many top fencers including a Senior World Cup medallist and Junior World Championship Gold Medallist and many GB champions. Spaces for this workshop are available to coaches and fencers but the primary focus for the day will be to help the coaches develop. Fencers are welcome to attend to take part in any demonstration group activities and to take lessons from coaches.
