All artist at one time or another will feel the need for inspiration and motivation and what better way than immersing yourself in a painting break, Studio views overlooking the sea in Bournemouth. Inspiring scenery and our special breaks are a little different. You will receive help and guidance from Three professional artists over the course of the break. Covering different techniques and different subject matter. There will also be demonstrations to get those artist instincts tingling. This is a great way to rejuvenate and develop your art by immersing yourself in one of our much loved TRIO breaks. No Matter what creative stage you’re at in your artistic journey, there is something for every ability on offer.

Private View - Join Us For Drinks Thursday 14th November, 6pm to 9pm We are thrilled to announce our second exhibition this month, “BECOMING”, a solo show by the talented Nigerian artist Maduka Emmanuel Onyebuchi. “BECOMING” marks Maduka’s debut solo exhibition, showcasing an exclusive collection of brand-new works created specifically for this occasion. Known for his striking hyperrealistic style, Maduka has captivated collectors and visitors alike in both Nigerian and the United States in group exhibitions, including previous shows at our gallery. In this latest body of work, Maduka explores his personal journey, reflecting on the pivotal experiences that have shaped him over time. In each piece, he assigns a crown or halo to his subjects, elevating them as Queens and Kings, symbolizing his belief that everyone possesses an inherent uniqueness and strength. Through these works, he emphasizes that each individual has the power to shape their destiny, confronting life’s challenges and striving relentlessly to carve out their own future.

If you love African art and texture then this workshop is for you! I have combined my love of Africa and my passion for creating mosaics into a fun workshop where you will learn how to create a slim piece of art using African beads, colourful vibrant glass and slate chips. What to expect You will be shown how to prepare the base, mix your own adhesive and combine your materials using a range of techniques to create interest and texture. Who is this for? Suitable for beginners, however, those with some mosaic experience are also welcome to join. Untutored Life Drawing/Painting sessions, ideal for the Artist, Student or Enthusiast wishing to keep in practice. We have drawing boards, easels etc, but bring your own drawing materials (paper, pencils, crayons...). We meet every Tuesday (6.30 to 9.30pm), only stopping when the building closes for Chistmas and the New Year period.
