An inspiring manager has the ability to motivate and develop team members' skills which is crucial for overall company performance and employee engagement. A key aspect of this is to support and encourage each team member to reach their full potential. Effective 1:1 meetings build confidence and provide direction, allowing individuals to find their own solutions and strategies. This approach empowers employees, fostering personal responsibility and increased performance. This course is available to book for delivery in-house for your organisation and people exclusively, for either a half or full days training workshop. Prices are dependent on size of group ranging from a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 12 delegates and duration of course selection. If you have a smaller number of delegates, the Puritas 1:1 Leadership Coaching Programme is recommended.

This one day training will give learners an overview of how to deliver Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST). CST is a brief evidence-based group treatment for people with dementia. This interactive course will include a background about CST and how it can be used, research overview and detailed presentation of the treatment, including video footage and role-play.

Chairing or facilitating a panel discussion is a particular skill. When many experts and specialists in their field are asked to do this, they discover that it is not as easy as they imagined. Pitching and introducing the session, involving everyone, promoting audience engagement, dealing with difficult panellists and ending the discussion can all be a challenge for inexperienced facilitators. Our panel facilitation training workshop focuses on providing delegates with the techniques and confidence they need to chair panel debates effectively. It is delivered by BBC presenter Martine Croxall and is highly interactive, blending theory with practical exercises. During the course, you will learn: the best way to prepare, including audience analysis and research how to pitch a panel how to introduce a panel how to involve everyone in the discussion the best way to promote audience engagement how to deal with difficult panellists how to end a discussion Each delegate will have the chance to chair a panel discussion, with the other delegates and Martine playing different roles as panellists.

Develop more advanced training skills such as expert presentation, facilitation and coaching skills. Course overview Duration: 2 days (13 hours) This workshop is for people who want to take their personal skills as a trainer to the next level. It builds on the Underscore Level 1 Train the Trainer course.  In this Level 2 course delegates will develop more advanced training skills such as expert presentation, facilitation and coaching skills. In the modern world learning is often delivered in blended learning formats and this course will introduce delegates to the challenges of blended learning and how to introduce a range of delivery methods into programmes. Attendees will learn how to write more complex learning plans and integrate different methods and media into their plans.
