You can start your baby’s swimming journey as soon as you feel ready to visit a warm swimming pool. We have had babies taking their first swim at only four weeks old. The sooner you start swimming lessons for your baby the better their understanding and confidence in the water will be. Your baby’s first experience in a structured swimming lesson is a wonderful and gentle introduction to water sensory techniques. We will teach you how to be comfortable and confident holding, moving, floating and playing with your baby in the pool.

MiDAS is the Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme, organised by the Community Transport Association UK (CTA) which promotes a nationally recognised standard for the assessment and training of minibus drivers. The course is designed to enhance minibus driving standards and promote the safer operation of minibuses.

You will need to complete Initial Driver CPC to be able to drive commercially (for hire or reward). There are two elements involved in Initial Driver CPC to be completed sequentially: Module 2 – Case Study Module 4 – Show & Tell Demonstration Module 2 is known as the “Case Study” and is a computer based test which you take at a Pearson Vue test centre. Module 4 is also known as the “Show & Tell Demonstration”. Lloyds School of Motoring conducts training for this and will book your test at the DVA test centre in Belfast.

Prior to registering on this qualification, individuals must be registered with OSCAR. Candidates must also prove knowledge and competence to create a clear cavity to be able to facilitate External Rendering and External Wall Insulation complying with current Building Regulations. All work must be completed following safe working practices, relevant legislation, and comply with contract information and the allocated timescales. The surveyor/inspection pathway requires candidates to demonstrate the skills and knowledge required to interpret information to be able to carry out a Cavity Clearance survey in accordance with the job specifications, following safe working practices and within the allocated time. The Surveyor must also understand how to communicate with others to ensure work is carried out effectively. This pathway includes identifying and selecting the correct quality of equipment, additionally candidates must understand how to calculate quantity, area and wastage. To achieve this pathway unit the survey work must be carried out in ways that will minimise the risk of damage to the work and surrounding area and using and maintaining equipment effectively. This qualification is made up of 3 mandatory units and 2 pathways. Candidates must complete the mandatory units and one or both of the pathways. The minimum credit value of this qualification is 24 credits. Attending a Maker Space session will give you an informal and enjoyable introduction to Computer Aided Design and Digital Manufacturing. We use only open source design software, that you can download and use at home for free. We have 3D Printers, a CNC Router, a Laser-cutter, a digital embroidery machine, and a 3D scanner, and all of them are available for you to use.
