The Ethical Education Enterprise CIC was established to provide high quality and meaningful training to people in the local communities of the Greater Manchester area. Here at Ethical Education, we pride ourselves on creating a learning environment that offers each student an individual pathway. Working with local organisations, we support staff to develop their skills through accredited qualifications and bespoke training which, in turn, enhances local sustainability. We are currently working with young people aged 14yrs + to provide additional support alongside school, focusing on their individual attributes and interests. We also work with adults who are looking to progress in work or with barriers to work. Experience has shown us that, in reality, most people simply want meaningful work in their lives and equally meaningful social relations that come as part of being included in the wider working world. We believe that an intrinsic, if not critical part of helping people to achieve their aims is to develop productive relationships with all like-minded organisations such as third sector partners, education providers, support organisations, social housing providers and employers. We therefore can develop positive transitional pathways to ensure our learners are trained to a level which enables them to confidently progress or enter into productive, meaningful and sustainable employment. Taking a person-centred approach, we aspire to produce positive outcomes for all individuals we work with, but also for employers and society, as we believe each are mutually complimentary and achievable given the right approach.

Enterprise Transport Training is one of the UK’s largest driver training organisations. Enterprise was launched in the 1990s by North West based employers to combat the driver shortage through providing licence acquisition training. Whilst staying loyal to our roots (we are still one of the country’s largest LGV training schools) the network expanded geographically and evolved to meet the growing requirement for classroom based training for both Drivers and Transport Managers to reflect the emphasis being placed on increasing safety and compliance with the transport industry. The Covid enforced move to a greater volume of online training has been embraced and with the exception of a few days at Christmas online courses run every day of the year. Our business is staffed by industry professionals. With, in excess of 20 qualified Transport Managers in our organisation we aim to support our clients across the whole of the UK through our knowledge and professionalism. The objective today is the same as it was 25 years ago - to increase the pool of highly skilled drivers and transport managers by making quality training widely available at a fair price.

Our work includes providing support for VCSE organisations to establish and develop, including delivering training for their staff, volunteers and trustees. In addition Volunteer Centre Salford provides support for individuals who want to volunteer and assistance for organisations developing volunteer programmes, including good practice support.

Bolton Smart Enterprise is a not for profit organisation that offers Educational and Social Opportunities supporting young adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities aged 18 yrs – 35yrs. We offer bespoke accessible Creative Learning programmes within a safe and secure environment. The programmes we offer to young adults with SEND are designed to build confidence, self-esteem, motivation and develop life skills to enable those participating to become more resilient and move positively into training, education, employment and volunteering opportunities. Programmes we deliver include; Arts, Craft and Design, Drama, Basic/Life Skills, Creative Enterprise Workshops, Music and Dance, Volunteer Training, Heritage Projects, Health and Wellbeing Programmes, Social and Leisure Activities. Please enquire for current programmes on offer. We accept Direct Payments for those individuals with a EHCP in place on a referral basis.
