The typical progression route on completion of this qualification is to Level 4 Award in the Diagnosis, Testing and Repair and Electric/Hybrid Vehicles and Components. This qualification is designed for technicians who maintain and repair electric/hybrid high voltage vehicle systems and components.

It contains the skills and knowledge required to work safely around a vehicles high and low voltage train system, whilst carrying out repairs or maintenance. You will be told about the other courses we offer so that you can make an informed choice about further learning. Participants in this course often move on to our Introduction to Paper Craft and Mixed Media Course that will introduce you to the basic materials, tools, equipment and techniques used. Experience has shown us that participants for whom English is not their first language, have found that quilling has helped them improve their understanding and spoken English as there is a lot of repetition of basic terms including numbers, colours and directions. Working with someon for whom English is their first language is also helpful.
