When you're navigating your own unique experiences such as sensory sensitivities, the demands of parenting, and adapting to everyday situations you can end up feeling drained and overwhelmed. Yoga Nidra is a deeply restorative meditation that help you release mental, emotional, and physical stress and tension that you are carrying. It is said that 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra meditation is equivalent to 2-4 hours of sleep! Yoga Nidra or ‘yogic sleep’ is a form of guided meditation practiced lying down. It is a deeply restorative practice that can help you relax, recharge your energy, and improve your sleep. The practice guides you through specific techniques to help you feel rested and refreshed. Meditation can help with parenting too! Yoga Nidra meditation helps you feel more relaxed and provides a quiet space for you to simply be. That means you can feel more patient, as you won't be carrying as much stress, while going through the ups and downs of parenthood. I'll explain the workbook and talk through the reflective activities for Month 1. We'll create a practical plan together of how you can integrate Yoga Nidra into your life. You'll receive a Yoga Nidra audio meditation to listen to between sessions. I'll check-in with you on Friday’s (via Telegram messaging - free app) to see how you've been getting on that week and how you've found the practices. Month 2 Second live call with Yoga Nidra meditation and reflection. We'll review Month 1 and discuss if there's anything that you would like adjusted for your practice.
