The skills taught on the HEAT course are taken to the next level by training delegates how to deal with more complex levels of medical conditions and trauma first aid training coupled with practical training in the use of advanced medical equipment and techniques. In line with all of our benchmark courses HEFAT ensures that travellers from all backgrounds are prepared for the widest possible threat levels across the widest field of environments and situations. This 2-day course offers the requalification of a variety of first aid situations and how to respond to an emergency. It gives delegates the confidence to deal with any of these situations safely and efficiently.

This training enables users to administer oxygen safely and effectively, for casualties with breathing difficulties. Delegates will learn how and when to administer oxygen to a casualty and the safety concerns with carrying, storing and administering it. This course is suitable for qualified First Aiders, Emergency First Aiders, dental practitioners and dental care professionals, nurses, healthcare professionals and others working in an environment where oxygen is available for casualty welfare.
